The observation deck on the roof is amazing. Sip a cocktail and watch the Maui sunset. The patio dining area is great for that morning coffee, to think about your plans for that day. The place was extremely clean and well stocked. Plan on going back to this rental.

Great family getaway
Great family getaway
We had a great time staying here on Maui. the location was easy to find and near all the beaches we wanted to go to. The house was neat, and has a lot of foil, saran wrap, spices and seasonings to use. Check before you buy... Safeway is only a few minutes up the road. I learned the hard way that rental houses usually are lacking when it comes to good sharp kitchen knives. I brought along my sharpener and trued up the blades so, be careful. ;-) The mango tree gave us two ripe mangos which we loved! They taste so good when tree ripened. The huge sliding doors and screened porch allowed for great cooling in the evening. I was glad that there was an AC unit in the master bedroom as the neighbors rooster was on east coast time and started cawing at 10:30 each night, Which made us shut the windows and it got a bit stuffy. There was a nice family sized cooler, ice packs, plenty of beach towels, boogie boards, beach umbrellas, and sand castle buckets, all there for renters to use. Overall a well laid out rental with lots of little extras.

Maui Beach House
Maui Beach House
We were a party of 4 adults and a baby and the house was perfect! Clean and spacious with everything you need to go to the beach, cook a meal, do laundry or watch TV/DVDs. The bedrooms afforded privacy with good bathrooms and plenty of hot water. The screened porch is wonderful with beautiful flowered trees all around it and we spent every morning gathered around the lovely table in there for breakfast. One of the reviews mentions the rooster but once we heard him he was simply part of all the wonderful bird noises around the property. A great yard too. Beaches and town were just a short drive away but I fell in love with Makena State Park, a little bit further of a drive opposite Kihei but worth it. I would come back here again and I would highly recommend this rental to families especially. You do need a car and just in case bring some coffee for the morning with you if your flight arrives late. I never met Steve the owner but he always answered my emails and calls immediately. He was helpful with my many questions. Two thumbs up !

We had an excellent first trip to Maui. The property was great overall - comfortable, spacious & well equipped. The highlights were unquestionably the rooftop deck and the screened in lanai. The location is quite central, so getting anywhere was fairly quick & easy. All the beach supplies you need are provided - chairs, boogie boards, cooler, umbrellas. We enjoyed staying here! There were a few minor inconveniences: One, the neighbors have a rooster. The rooster starts anywhere from 2:30 am to 4:00 am daily, so leaving the windows open at night in the master bedroom didn't happen. Two, the boogie boards had been snapped in half by a previous guest, but the cloth coverings hid the damage. Still usable, but not as effective. Three, the pantry isn't regularly stocked with standard ingredients/spices. Expect to buy everything you need except coffee filters. The BBQ uses charcoal briquette. All these are simple "first world problems" - LOL! We would happily stay here again!

For the second time my family and I came to this gorgeous place. We liked it so much that we just had to make all the way long from germany again. It's really worth doing it. It's such a charming place with everything you want and need. Nice, spacous rooms with tasteful interiour, music, dvds and TV for entertainment, boogie-boards, towels ect for the beach, fully equiped kitchen... my favorit place was actually the hammock on the balkony where you perfectly could enjoy the calmness or the roof terasse on the top while watching the stars at night. The property was well-maintained and clean and in Steve we had a great renter (have a look at all the paintings he did) The location is just perfect to go for swimming and snorcelling to nearby beaches. We defenetly would recommand this property to everybody and would love to have the chance to come back for a third time.
