This is a very cold and drafty condo, we had to use paper towels to block the wind coming thru the cracks around the air-conditioners. The kitchen was okay but the cheapest plates etc. also cheap furniture, not what we were used to in Mexico. There is no view unless you lean over the balcony and no table either to sit outside at with drinks. We would not recommend this condo, but probably okay for very short term rentals.

Owner response:I'm at a loss for words. We have only had glowing feedback up to this point. There are more expensive locations a guest could rent if they are looking for 5 star I guess. I believe our description and past guest comments are more accurate. Thanks Richard

Susan and Richard Thank You for sharing your wonderful piece of Paradise! We've vacationed in Mazatlan often. This was our most relaxing stay so far. We thought we'd be a little adventurous and learn the bus routes, so we headed out one day for the aquarium not knowing where to get off, we ended up at the bus barn at the south end of town! We had a good laugh with the bus driver, he put us on another bus that took us back where we needed to go. Your unit was stocked with EVERYTHING we needed to make our stay comfortable. Very clean. The pool and grounds were spotless also. Our new favorite place to eat is Playa Bruja. I'm really going to miss those shrimp! Thanks again. John & Rene Owner comment: The bus driver is so Mazatlan... Enjoyed our stay. The condo was very confortable. The only problem we had was with the lighting. Mostly in the kitchen area. We had the opportunity to see a turtle laying it's eggs on the beach, with lots of security to make sure the eggs were safe. 91 in total were collected. A very unique experience. I've always noticed the kitchen lighting as well but after a few days of Mexico I settle in and kind of forget about it. Well, It is fixed. You can actually read a can label in there now.LOL!

Thank you so much for opening up your condo for rent. We have had a glorious 10 day stay- very relaxing and full of gorgeous sunsets. The location of Quintas Del Mar is ideal. Isolated enough to be quiet & away from the crowds, but close enough ( by a cheap bus ride) to the action & good restaurants. We will definitely be back. Leslie & Steve Qualicum Beach

It would have been great if the pool was up and running but even without it we had a nice relaxing week. My advise to other guests is to be real careful when going in the ocean directly in front of the steps. I got caught in a undertow and almost bit it. Far enough away from the Golden Zone to just relax, yet close enough to take in Mazatlan and all it has to offer. Awesome relaxing week! Everyone so friendly! I loved the beach access with refreshing pool waiting to cool off in after walking. Great lobster, shrimp, and margaritas at playa bruja at north end of beach. Lovely miles to walk. Thanks for this special time to just hang out.

Hi: Your condo was lovely. We really liked the way it was decorated, very warm, cozy & Mexican but with a touch of American. It had everything you would need. We have stayed in other condo's & your's hits the top of the list. My husband is a TV person & really enjoyed all the English channels. He had broken his heel last fall so we were limited on how much traveling we could do so the TV in the evenings was great. We had a great time. Cheryl

Richard and Susan, We were soaking up the rays on your fabulous beach just prior to our departure and the taxi arrived before we were able to sign your guestbook, so here's our two bits: We could not have enjoyed our stay more! Great condo, perfect location ( I noticed less beach "traffic" here than next door at Costa Bonita), stunning views, and a terrific management team who were very responsive to our needs. We were glad for the peaceful locale as we were able to escape the hoards that arrived for Holy week. This was our first stay in Mazatlan and we were enchanted! Mary Ann (and my mother, Lillian)

The part Richard and Susan wrote about how they know what travelers want is true. We found all our wants and needs to be anticipated and provided for. The blue beach chairs came in handy! The condominium is appointed beautifully with all the extras anyone could want. This condominium was spacious for a couple, and could have handled two more people in the Den/Bedroom. It's on a beautiful, quieter stretch of beach away from all the commotion in the gold zone, but a short taxi or bus ride from the action if that's what you want. During our stay in January, it was a bit chilly. The Satellite TV and high-speed internet came in handy on the cold mornings. The pool area is quite nice, but the pool is not heated. We would definitely return to Quintas Del Mar, and especially to this unit.

Susan & Richard What a great escape from the northland! Your home here in Mazatlan has everything. The comforts of a beautiful, well equipped condo with a big clean beach away from the crowds and easy access to entertainment and bustle. Thank you for sharing your peaceful abode. P.S. "Irnie" on the beach sold us a fun tour to Stone Island for $35.00 US each. Not luxurious, but fun. Also... the buses are defintely the way to get around. You can catch three different lines in front of the complex or nearby that will take you anywhere for about .75 US
