  Wecame here to celebrate our 6th anniversary it was such a wonderful time to be in Destin. We had the beaches to ourselves every night was quiet we discovered the best restaurant in Destin, mcQuires Irish Pub, and we were in this beautiful condo. Next time we will bring our little boys Peabody a wire fox terrier and Peirce a Welsh Terrier. This condo was the perfect spot and we can not wait to come back!

  We have been staying here at Ciboney for the last 5 years and this condo was simply the BEST. We will be booking it for next year as well. Wereally enjoyed it and love the decor.

  My family and I stayed at Ciboney 2008 for my Beach Wedding. This Condo offered us everything we needed and more for our stay there. It was like home away from home literally. My husband and I enjoyed the balcony that we could walk outside of the room to so much. Most of all it was very convenient having the beach right across the street when my other family arrived for the wedding and especially after I put on my dress, I didn't have far to walk. This Condo made my wedding weekend absolutely perfect. I just loved, and of course my family and I will be coming back again to stay at Ciboney 2008. It was also near all the great stores and outlets. Just a wonderful place to stay, and very comfortable very.

  Recommended for: People with disabilities, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

  I stayed at Ciboney 2008 and had my wedding on the beach across the street. The accomodations were exquisite and the location was very convenient to everything. I loved it, it felt just like home away from home. This will be our forever vacation rental spot as long as it is available, and if it's not we will reschedule our vacation until it is. I love it and my family did also.

  Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

  Our stay in September 2011 was perfect. Ciboney was beautiful, convenient, clean...everything was perfect. The pictures did not do the location or the rental property justice. Instructions for check-in were listed in unit and explained everything in detail. We had no problem with the deposit as I had read in other reviews. We are already planning our next stay and have recommended Cibony to many friends. Nice people to do business with.

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, pet owners, families with young children.

  Owner response: Thank you for your positive review. The problem with the return of the deposit was prior to the current owner. The current owner bought the property in Sept 2010 and completely renovated the condo. We generally have good guests who take care of things and the deposit is not an issue. I have no knowledge of what happened with the guest in the summer of 2010. Renee Clayton

  This was my first time staying at the Ciboney. It was everything the advertisement stated and then some. Very clean and easy access to the beach. It was also within walking distance to several local eating establishments. I will definitely recommend this place to me relatives and friends. Awesome place!!!

• Return of Deposit

  My family and I enjoyed a week at this Condo, July 31 to Aug 6 2010. The accomadations were excellant. However after two attempts to reclaim my deposit, I feel I should alert anyone that may consider this rental to be aware of our problem. The contract read that we would recieve our deposit back within two weeks. After that time I emailed the owner to inquire about the deposit and have meet with no response. A month later same result.

  Owner response: Ciboney 2008 is under new ownership and we do not know the circumstances of the above problem.

  Our stay at the Ciboney Condo was a great experience. The place was right across the street from the beach. We could see the beach from our balcony. Ciboney was located right next to an area that did not have any beach front condos or homes. This made the beach in the area less crowded. On the beach when I looked along the coast, I could see a much bigger crowds where there were high beach front condos. Dave Ross and Cindy Laughter, the owner of the condo, was kind enough to leave beach chairs, umbrellas, floaties, and body boards in the condo. This saved us the trouble of packing or buying these items. It was a real bonus. I bookmarked this place so I can rent it again for my next Destin trip.

  Hi Dave: Thank you so much, for giving us the opportunity to stay in your condo, again this year. The weather was perfect, and the view of the Gulf from the balcony, was fabulous. It is great to be able to walk out the front door, and have immediate access to the beach, where we took many long walks. There are so many good restaurant's in the area, and the Silver Sands shopping mall is the best. Joan and Larry
