The location of this condo is wonderful. The ocean in this location is beautiful . . . Emerald in color. The pool area was very nice. Great exercise room on site. We walked the beach every day. We felt very at home in this unit. the unit was very clean. It is well equipped and spacious. The owner was a delight to work with. We could not have asked for a better vacation spot. I would definately consider renting this unit again.

What a wonderful condo rental experience! The unit is nicely furnished with plenty of room and has all the amenities to make it just like home. The condo is very secure; you feel totally safe. We particularly like the access through a lobby as opposed to going directly into the unit from the outside. This is our second visit to this unit and will prioritize it for our next vacation. What is particularly special is the Landlord is outstanding; if there is ever an issue the response is immediate and positive, Thank you!!!

Great place to stay!

Came down from Indiana for a long weekend getaway. Before our arrival, I felt that Dawn communicated well with us and got back immediately to answer questions. When we arrived, everything was as expected. Pictures online are accurate, the unit was clean and well stocked to meet our needs. Large master bath with washer/dryer was great. Location was AWESOME! Loved the proxemity to the beach, the views, walkway to beach, the amenities. Having the restaurant in the building was nice to just go down and have a few drinks and dinner. Close to shopping and more commercial places on the main highway, but also felt very beachy and quiet walking down along the waterfront road. We came here to relax and just "do nothing" for 4 days and this was the perfect place to do it! I would recommend this place to others. If you want good pizza, I recommend walking right behind Surfside to the Ariel Dunes cafe on the 1st floor. It was so yummy!

Great Choice for a Destin Condo

We based our selection on the building amenities and the actual condo and both exceeded our expectations. Surfside is very well maintained and we enjoyed the extra amenities, such as a fitness center and plenty of covered parking. We went in peak season and the private beach was not crowded. Beach service was excellent. The unit is very clean and in good condition. This is much nicer than your typical beachfront condo. The balcony is spacious and has quality furniture - perfect for a quiet breakfast with an ocean view. The kitchen is surprisingly well equipped. Having a washer/dryer in the unit turned out to be a more important feature than I would have anticipated. We were particularly happy with our experience dealing with the owner, Dawn. The administrative piece of renting was A+. Dawn was helpful and efficient, paperwork and instructions were clear and timely. This is an incredibly important piece in renting and I would give my experience working with Dawn the highest possible rating. We enjoyed eating at Pompano Joe's and The Back Porch for great seafood next to the beach. Call ahead! Good experience fishing with Pelican Adventures - captain's boat Anticipation. Emerald Coast did a nice job with discover diving/snorkeling.

Wonderful vacation

We stayed here for vacation during June 11 - 18. What a wonderful place to stay. The condo was clean and close to so many things. Beach right across the street (with walkway over if you wanted to use it). We walked to souvenoire shops, TCBY, a grocery store and Dollar General (for those forgotten items). The pictures portray the unit to a T. We had such a great time. Thank you for allowing us to use your condo for a week away from home!

Great condo in great location

Thanks, Dawn, for sharing your condo with us, beautiful unit. Condo was lavishly furnished and very clean. Location was also excellent. Bridge over the road to the beach was a definite plus. Don't have to worry about kids crossing the road. This is our fourth consecutive summer in the Destin Area and plan to go back every summer. I would definitely book this unit again unless I have a bigger group going. I would recommend spending an afternoon at Harbour Walk in Destin on Thursday. If you have younger children, get there by 5pm and take advantage of the $1.99 special (normally ~$7) for kids at some of the restaurants there before 6pm. I highly recommend Harry T's. All the fish entrees are excellent. Avoid the Lucky Snapper at all cost. The grilled fish there was bland and the blackened fish was salty. Side items were also bland. Fireworks at the harbour every Thursday at 8:30pm during the summer. I also recommend renting a pontoon boat for a day and spend half a day at crab island. The kids will love diving for hermit crabs. The water is about waist level and hermit crabs are everywhere. You might get lucky and find some blue crabs. You can save a hundred bucks on the pontoon rental if you go to Fort Walton Beach (5 minutes drive from the harbour). It's about 15-20min ride by pontoon to Crab Island. It's about $375-$400+tax for a full day if you rent in Destin. I paid total $270 (cash) by renting in Fort Walton Beach. The number is on one of the brochures in the lobby. Just call around.

Miramir Beach Getaway

This two bedroom is very nice with a great view of the coastline. Kitchen was fully stocked if you enjoy cooking while on vacation, and there is an abundance of dishes in the pantry. Staff at Surfside is very friendly and helpful at all times. The bed we slept in we feel into it like babies and went right to lala land after a long day on the beach. T.V. in everybedrom was a plus also. Dolphins came by every day and night. Also since Santa Rosa, Watercolors, and Graton Beach are so so close we took the drive along the Scenic Route. Had grouper platter at Seaside Grocery Store just past Watercolors on left at stop sign. I go here everytime I am close enough. It is a little place so don't miss it, you will be spoiled by the grouper they serve and the service is very friendly. We did eat at the restaurant located on the premises, I don't remember the name of it if that is any indication of what we thought of the food.

Condo & Beach were beautiful

THANKS SO MUCH for sharing your condo with our family. It was very well decorated, clean, spacious & convenient to restaurants, shopping and Fort Walton Beach airport. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals. The view of the ocean from the balcony was even more beautiful than shown in the pictures. We enjoyed our early morning coffee & breakfast on the balcony. It doesn't get much better than that! We enjoyed taking walks & relaxing on the beach and spending time in the pool & hot tubs, which were also very nice. A beach umbrella & chairs were provided as a convenience. The owners of the condo were outstanding to work with and the Surfside was a very friendly place to stay. We loved the Destin area and left with alot of great memories with our family. It was very hard to leave and we hope to return again soon. I highly recommend this condo to anyone interested in coming to Destin.
