Our west-side condominium has breathtaking views of the sparkling emerald green Gulf waters and glorious Florida sunsets.
It is 1,155 square feet with a spacious balcony suitable for outdoor dining. The condominium has been recently redecorated throughout with new paint, and furniture. It looks fabulous. Surfside 206 offers all the luxury that you would expect from a world class beach resort without the expensive prices unsually associated with it. It is definitely not the usual "condo package" that you may have experienced in previous rentals. The kitchen is remodeled and has updated appliances. During the summer it rents as a two bedroom unit. There are two baths, two bedrooms, living room, dining room, eat-in kitchen, washer and dryer, large balcony, unique floor plan with views from every room.
The unit has 10 foot ceilings and floor to ceiling windows with sliding doors to the balcony in every room. Quality balcony furniture, table and chairs for out-door dining for relaxing and enjoying the view. Balcony enclosures have clear glass for unobstructed viewing of the Gulf.
There is a large, luxurious master suite with king bed and second master with two queen-sized beds and a separate entrance.
Surfside Resort offers all the amenities:
a pool-side tiki bar, full-service restaurant, bar on beach,
exercise facility, lighted tennis courts, vollly ball, basketball,
heated pool, two hot tubs and saunas. FREE high-speed wireless
internet access makes it convenient to stay in touch.
Silver Sands Outlet Mail is a mere 1/2 mile away and only four miles from Destin Commons offers 14 screen multiplex theater and shopping and dining that is ouotstanding. There are also chain restaurants such as Macaroni Grill, Outback Steak House, Longhorn Steak House, Bonefish Grill and Cracker Barrelwithin five miles of the resort.

Why the Owner Chose Surfside
We visited Destin in the mid '80s and fell in love with it. Though we have traveled the world, we have never discovered a beach or water more beautiful than we have found in Destin. When we were ready to buy a place in Destin, our condo at Surfside Resort seemed perfect. It has a spectacular view of the Gulf and great ammenities.
The Unique Benefits at this Condominium
We really enjoy our private beach, playing tennis on our on-site courts, exercising in our fitness center, and dining in our great on-site restaurant. Our two balconies with unobstructed glass enclosures are 24 ft. and 14 ft. long and wide enough for outdoor dining. There is plenty of private parking, covered and uncovered. It's also nice to order lunch and drinks at the Tiki hut on the pool deck or have drinks at the bar on the beach tower.

We have owned a vacation home in Destin since 2001. We love it so much that in 2007, we decided to buy a second condo so all our family could come to the beach together. It has been great. Our primary home is in Atlanta, Georgia where Randy works in advertising and Dawn gardens, does volunteer work, and spends time with grandchildren.
Our three daughters are grown, but they still love to spend time at our beach home with their children. One of our summer highlights is “Grandchildren’s Week at the Beach”. All six of our grandchildren, their moms and Dawn spend a week at the condo. They enjoy swimming, building sandcastles, bicycling, tennis, going to “the Track,” and the movies.
As a couple, we love to travel, play tennis, exercise, enjoy good restaurants, shop, and most of all, relax at the beach. Because we live only 5 ½ hours away, we frequently visit our beach condo and have furnished it similar to our home in Atlanta with all its amenities. We want it to be a place that we and our guests can vacation without worries.
