The Sea Shell condo is a unique treasure. There is a calming view of the beach and water from the balcony -- perfect for morning coffee or evening cocktails. This unit's kitchen is well stocked with appliances, dishes, containers, pitchers -- everything you need in your home away from home. The king-size bed in the bedroom practically guarantees a wonderful night's sleep. The condo is well decorated and the sofa & couch are comfy for relaxing. We truly enjoyed our stay and plan to return.

We had the BEST vacation at the Sea Shell!! The condo is extremely clean, and well stocked with supplies you need when you are away from home! The California King bed in the master was perfect for vacation! Our children (ages 3 and 8) were super excited about the bunk beds! Very spacious!! The best was our short walk over a newly remodeled boardwalk to the ocean! The ocean view from our balcony was perfect! The owners are readily available and easy to contact when needed. We held many wonderful memories on our one week stay.....and will definetly be returning in the future! Thank you for sharing your "home" away from home with us!

The purpose of our stay was relaxation. We could not have found a better place to do it. I would describe the unit as quaint. It was very clean and well appointed, and had everything we needed. The lot next door is empty, so there is a great view of the beach from the balcony. Lisa, the owner, worked very hard to ensure that we had a great stay. The kitchen was sell equipped, and we ate in most of the time. The bed was very comfortable and we slept like babies. The condo is near the end of the street, so it is quiet and traffic is minimal. It is just a few easy steps to the beach which was practically deserted during our stay. The next time we plan to go to the Ft. Walton Beach/Destin area our first step will be to check the Sea Shell for availability.

2 Days at Sea Shell

We enjoyed our stay very much. Setting it up was easy; the owners seem to really care about you having a good stay. The cottage is very roomy, and sleeps 6 comfortably. All amenites were taken care of for us. You feel secluded even though you are a short distance from stores, gas, and resturants. Although it is not right on the beach, it has a good view of the ocean, and you can see and hear the waves crashing. It is a short (less than 50 yards) access to the beach. The beach is the sugar sand of the gulf coast. Clear water, no crowds. We highly recommend this unit for your vacation needs.

The Aloha Spirit Is Felt At The Sea Shell Condominium

Since moving back to Hawaii in 1991, my husband and I come to Fort Walton Beach once a year to visit my parents who live in Mary Esther. Due to circumstances, this year they were unable to accommodate us. I manage several vacation rentals on the North Shore of Oahu. We list a few of them on VRBO, so that is the resource I used to find us a place to stay. Although we checked out many properties that would allow us to be near the gulf, our intuition was right in choosing the Sea Shell Condominium. The reservation process was extremely professional, providing confidence in our choice from beginning to end. The condo was clean, tastfully decorated, and most of all a comfortable place to come to at the end of the day. The view of the ocean was awesome. Because our future visits to Fort Walton Beach will require us to find accommodations, it is comforting to know, provided the calendar has availability, where we will stay. Mahalo, Garth & Kathy

Our recent stay at the Sea Shell Cottage was wonderful! The rooms were well maintained and clean, the decor made you feel relaxed and peaceful, and it was well located to easily reach any of the local attractions and restaurants. The owner was extremely helpful in giving information concerning our arrival, the cottage, the beach, etc. We will definitely return next year and will highly recommend it to all our friends.

This condo was a lovely place to stay. It was very clean, comfortable, and convenient to the beach. There is a sidewalk up to the bridge that takes you right to the beautiful sand then to the gorgeous water. We saw dolphins, pelicans, sandpipers, and lots of fish. Rented a Kayak right on the beach off the bridge and the chairs & umbrella provided were wonderful. The pool at the condo was fun too for a quick dip. This place had everything you need for a relaxing stay. Thank you Lisa for sharing your place with so many to enjoy.

Our family of 3 had a wonderful time at the Seashell,enlight of TS Lee! We had plenty of room, beds were very comfortable. Condo was spotless,equipped with everything you would have at home. We enjoyed the short walk to the beach,pool was clean.Very family oriented complex. Lisa was a pleasure to work with,looking forward to next year!

Great location with easy travel to Destin (and we went every afternoon) after spending a relaxing day at the very clean & uncrowded beach and/or Sea Shell pool. The condo was very clean, roomy and comfortable (everything you need is there, even the ice chest for the beach!!!). The area allowed my husband and 3 boys do all the activities we intended to do. We rested well, enjoyed eating at the Fisherman's Wharf & Aj's, parasailed with Just Chute Me!! walked the pier, did some outlet mall shopping, and watched the Thursday night fireworks and air show.Truly a great vacation!!! We will be returning ASAP next year (may even squeeze in 2 vacations at the Sea Shell). Thanks Lisa!!!

We really enjoyed our stay at the seashell. It was a very accurate description of the rental. Owners were pleasent and easy to work with. Rental was very well stocked. Great location, quiet, steps from beach and little store just a short ride away offering anything you might need. Very clean. We took our 4 kids and they had a blast.

We had wonderful week on Okaloosa at the Sea Shell. First time using VRBO, so were reluctant to try it. But, glad we did! Listing and pictures were exactly as described. Beautifully decorated, and complete with all amenities needed. Well maintained, and clean upon check-in. Owner was very helpful upon check-in with little problem (not associated with condo itself). Only took one phone call and she had it taken care of. Would recommend for couples, and small families. For an afternoon trip, the Eglin Air Force Base Armament Museum (free) is great trip! The local restaurants, expecially High Tide, are all great, and much easier to get into rather than driving to the tourist attractions in Destin. Traffic terrible in Destin! Everything you need is within two miles of the condo. Short walk to beautiful beach with chairs and umbrella awaiting! Exterior grounds neat, clean, & well-maintained.

We totally enjoyed our stay at the Seashell. The ocean is very close and the accommodations are nice and clean. The kitchen was fully stocked and it was great having a washer and dryer in the unit. It was tastefully decorated in the Sea Shell motif. We would definitely come back to the Seashell in the future and highly recommend it to others. The owner was very nice and promptly returned our deposit.

The seashell was everything Lisa said it was and more! My family and I found the kitchen to be well stocked and very useful! The fact that the chairs were already set out for you on the beach was a blessing for us and allowed us to carry toys for my son to play with! We were pleasantly suprised that the beach was uncrowded and each family could have their own space! My husband and I also enjoyed sitting on the balcony and listening to the ocean after my son had gone to bed. The seashell was perfect for my family of three. We had so much fun, we hope to make a yearly visit to the seashell a new family tradition!!

Overall, we had a very good stay at the Sunset Cottages. The beach was very close, and the chairs and umbrella set up were so nice. Our two girls (ages 3 and 7) loved playing in the sand and they definitely enjoyed the pool at the condo.

We've been to Fort Walton Beach many times and this was by far the best value we've been able to find. The location is literally steps from the beach and the weather was gorgeous for mid March! The condo included everything we needed to relax and enjoy a few home cooked meals and save some money. The bunk beds were a huge plus and are big enough for a couple kids or even adults as we had 5 people on the trip. Everything in the unit was very well maintained. The two balconies were also very nice to sit and enjoy a view of the beach. I would highly reccomend this to anyone and thanks again to Lisa for being very easy to work with and available the entire time to answer any last minute questions. We will definitely be back!

I took my daughter and grandchildren there for a week of fun. Thats just what we had. The unit was the perfect size and very nice. The pool was was very clean and never too busy. My husband and I returned 2 weeks ago and we had a great time. The condo is gorgeous and close to the beach. Our two balconies had nice views, as one is on the end with more privacy and a small view of the ocean. Thanks Lisa for working with us, so nice not to go through a management company! After all, isn't that what VRBO is all about? The area is OIL FREE and the surrounding area's really need the support from all of us Gulf Lovers!

This is a lovely condo. The description was very accurate and I found the property to be even nicer than I expected. We had a nice view of the ocean even though the building is set back a little and partially obstructed by another building. We enjoyed the panaramic view (this is a corner condo). Views of the sunset were available with just a short walk to the beach. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking and the furnishings were comfortable, clean and very attractive. We found good restaurants within walking distance and in Destin. Next time we plan to explore more of Ft. Walton. We did get there once to visit their library which is great and has free internet access. I would highly recommend this condo and we hope to return.

We enjoyed our stay at the Sea Shell Condo, the accommodations were perfect, clean and well equipped. We travelled around the area and visited great Military museums. The beach was beautiful white sand we enjoyed many walk along the shore. It was great to be away from the snow and cold weather of the Canadian winter.

I spent nearly a week at the Seashell with my husband, my sister and her daughter in early August 2009. We really enjoyed our stay there. The condo was very nice, and clean. The kitchen fully stocked! Lisa was a delight to work with. The weather was wonderful and the beach very close. We appreciated the lounge chairs, cooler and umbrella which were available in the condo, so we did not have to pay the expensive rentals on the beach. Lisa takes very good care of her property and we appreciated how neat everything was inside the condo. Destin is just a few minutes away and a fun place to go to after the beach. I hope to come back.

I had excellent time in your condo. Everything was decorated with sea shells and very clean. It's not right on the beach but close enough to go back for lunch or go get some drink. Beach was beautiful! You can not find nice condo with that price you charged this time of the year.also, Lisa was keeping up with us and I feel so bad that you called me back middle of night to check on us. We had a wonderful time at the "Sea Shell" June 30 - July 4, 2009. We went to the beach for several reasons, a 17th B-day, daughter graduating nursing school and a much needed vacation. We had a great vacation and all the kids agree that we have to go back next summer, or sooner.

Our stay could not have been more perfect the week of 4/25 - 5/1/09. The condo was very comfortable and accomodating and the weather was perfect. NO RAIN for 7 days. We stayed at the Seashell for our very first, long-awaited family vacation and truly enjoyed it! While the kids were still in bed sleeping in the morning, we enjoyed sitting on the balcony and looking out at the gulf. While the weather was a little cooler than we thought it would be, the condo was awesome and had everything that we needed to make our stay comfortable! Great family-oriented beach and condo unit! We are planning on coming back again next year!

Stormy and I had a great time at the Sea Shell. The condo was very comfortable and had everything we needed to feel at home. We loved waking up in the mornings and opening the french doors to enjoy the beatiful ocean view. Thank you Lisa for making our vacation one to remember! We look forward to coming back next year!

My daughter and I had an incredible week in the sun at the Sea Shell for early Spring Break. The view from the balconys was great. We layed out by the pool and enjoyed meeting the neighbors. We were both able to visit with friends we had not seen since we moved from the area four years ago. The condo itself was exactly as advertised, clean, beautifully decorated, and stocked with everything from a coffee pot to beach umbrella and chairs. We will definitely return in the near future.

We stayed at the "Sea Shell" the month of February 2009. While the weather was a little cooler then what we were hopping for, the sun was out all but 2 days. The sun alone was worth the trip! The condo was extremely confortable, very clean, nicely decorated, and a georgeous view of the beach an ocean. Would we stay again? You betcha!

Well, this marks the 3rd time in as many years that Leah and I have spent late September at the Sea Shell. We were engaged there in 2006, married there in 2007, and celebrated one year of wedded bliss there in 2008. Once again, we couldn't ask for a better setting for a relaxing week away from the relative hustle and bustle of our daily routines. The weather was absolutely picture-perfect, and the amenities were, as usual, exactly what we needed. expect to hear from us again next year!! Thanks Lisa!!
