The house was built in 1907, once used as a stagecoach stop, where passengers rested and horses were watered at the spring, that now feeds two fishponds. Situated on the high plain between Great Falls and Belt, three mountain ranges are visible from here. Look out from the redwood deck and you will know why Montana is called the Last Best Place.
