Superb Yellowstone Location

We stayed here from the 3rd to the 10th September 2011. Absolutely loved it. The house was superb. Had everything you would need (just an iron was missing). Very private and the views spectacular. You could see Mammoth Springs in Yellowstone from the many decks. The hot tub was so wonderful to soak in each evening (had we got up earlier we could have used it and am sure it would have been just as good)! The close proximity to Yellowstone and Gardiner, where you could get a wonderful breakfast (or evening meal) was so good, The drive and walk we took up the mountain and by the river to the old graveyard .... we could go on ever. Zaburn (sorry if I've spelt that incorrectly) was so laid back to deal with, we were sure something would go wrong. It didn't! Thank you so much for allowing us to stay in you beautiful home. I REALLY CAN'T SAY ENOUGH GOOD THINGS ABOUT THIS PLACE ! IT WAS VERY CLEAN AND HAD EVERYTHING WE NEEDED FOR OUR TRIP ! THE KITCHEN WAS STOCKED VERY WELL AND THE CABIN WAS GREAT IN ALL AREAS. WE WERE SECLUDED YET WE WERE ONLY 5 MILES FROM YELLOWSTONE PARK ! THE BIG TUB IN THE BATHROOM WAS VERY RELAXING.THE JACUZZI WAS SO NICE TO RELAX IN AS WELL . I CAN NOT SAY ENOUGH ABOUT THE VIEWS !! WE COULD SEE SO FAR INTO YELLOWSTONE ! WE LIKED EVERYTHING ABOUT THE CABIN ! THE DECKS 4 LEVELS PROVIDED US WITH THE MOST AMAZING VIEWS ! WE SAW A EAGLE EARLY ONE MORNING ! WE WOULD GO BACK TOMORROW IF WE COULD !!

Wonderful get away home

This house was wonderful. The view from the 4 tier deck was amazing, you could see the mountains from all sides. We saw an elk every morning. The owner could not have been nicer or more helpful. It was convienent to Yellowstone and close to shopping and outdoor activities. I would come back again, and in fact I hated to leave. It was very quiet and peaceful which is what I wanted. I would recommend this place to everyone. I want to come back next year.

Unforgettable Montana View

Jardine was the perfect location for our family vacation. We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful place. The close proximity to Yellowstone’s north entrance made for easy daily trips into the park. The home has everything you need. There was even a cooler that we used on our daily drives into Yellowstone. The views off the deck are amazing. I definitely miss those mornings relaxing in the hot tub, soaking up the surrounding landscape while enjoying morning coffee. In the evenings we would come back to grill on the deck and watch the sun fade over the unforgettable scenery. Just thinking about our time there makes me want to go back. We could have easily spent the entire summer there. Like me, you’ll never want to leave.

My husband and I stayed here for one week and we had such a good time ! The house was perfect for what we needed ! I enjoyed the cabin very much, it was clean and decorated so nice ! The kitchen had what we needed for cooking and having a cup of coffee on the deck was truly amazing !! We were only 5 miles from Yellowstone Park but we were secluded on the mountain. The jacuzzi was nice to sit in after a long day of exploring the park. The bathrooms were clean and the big tub in the master room was a nice surprise ! I would recommend this cabin as it was so peaceful and had everything we needed to enjoy our vacation.

Not what I expected

My family stayed 4 nights in the Jardine house. I have used vrbo.com for booking my vacation rentals for the last 7 years and this is the first time I have ever felt disappointed on arrival to a rental and relieved when it was time to leave. The rental appears to be a double wide trailer that is showing its age. Upon arrival, the rental was not clean (bathrooms and carpet dirty, garbage in cans). Furthermore, the carpet and the entire house needed a good deep cleaning to remove grime under rugs, spider webs out of doorways, dust off of furniture, and rat feces out of cabinets. The main bath room door knob was non functional and duct tape was used to hold it together. All of the mini blinds and throw rugs inside the rental were tattered and in serious need of replacement. During our stay, I had a rat run across my foot while brushing my teeth. From the very strong odor in the master bedroom and bath area, I think another rat had crawled and died inside the walls. The rental does not have a bear proof garbage can or an iron for guest use. The furniture inside the rental was nice. The deck area was beautiful, but the yard area is covered in tall weeds and the back yard swing was broken. Many of the problems I have mentioned could be easily remedied with a little TLC, but I feel all renters should be aware of the current condition of the rental prior to their arrival.

My family and I (6 adults & 1 child) just returned from our mountain/Yellowstone vacation and we all had a wonderful time. Cabin was roomy enough plus it was a great view of the surrounding mountains, landscapes and saw various wildlife from cabin. Great Stay!!

What a perfect vacation! We've always used VRBO and have never been disappointed. This place exceeded our expectations! The view from the huge deck (and hot tub) is amazing. Zabun was the perfect host. If you had any questions, he had answers. We loved the privacy of this cabin and the sound of the water running down Bear Creek. We only drove into the park 3 days because it was so nice to just relax on the deck. In the park we saw 7 grizzly bears, 6 black bears, 1 wolf, tons of elk and buffalo, prong horn, mule deer, mountain goats, bald and golden eagles -- even saw a grizzly bear and her cub dining on a deer (which believe it or not, did not gross me out). Our only regret was that we were only there for one week. If you are at all like me (searched for the perfect place for months and booked a year in advance), I promise you that you will not be disappointed!

We stayed during the first week of June. We could see snow-capped mountains in 3 directions. Plus we could see the steam rising from Mammoth Hot Springs inside Yellowstone. Hike up the hill behind the house and disappear into the Gallatin National Forest. Very comfortable home. Great place to relax and recover from a day of hiking and exploring Yellowstone NP, especially with the hot tub!

My family & I spent the week of August 24th, 2008, at the Z. Burton home in Jardine, Mt. Our family consists of two adult sons, one daughter-in-law, one soon to be daughter-in-law, my wife, and myself. We all enjoyed our stay in the home alot. Each day we used the residence as a base of operations for visiting Yellowstone Park returning to the home later each day usually enjoying the hot tub after the days activities. We found the house to be very clean, well-stocked with our needs, and decorated in a tasteful manner. Mr. Burton was very attentive offerring suggested activities to do and things to see while in Jardine & Yellowstone. We would definitely recommend this property to anyone who wants to enjoy Big Sky Country in close proximity to Yellowstone.

I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank Mr. Burton for the wonderful time we spent in his home for the last couple of weeks! After spending almost a year researching the North Yellowstone area I can say that my family & I couldn't have picked a better place to spend our vacation! After a full day exploring Yellowstone and the surrounding areas (most right around the cabin!) it was wonderful to come "home" to the house in Jardine! No neighbors, no touristy atmosphere here! Just a big hot tub and relaxation!! I have rented many vacation properties over the years & my husband and I have to say this was one of the most wonderful & best experiences we have had. Mr. Burton was so helpful and was always available to answer our questions regarding local attractions, fishing or whatever came to mind. His caretaker, Ron, was a also very accommodating. This home also has the most fantastic views in Montana! What a sight to wake up to every morning while sipping coffee on the deck! Staying at this house in Jardine was the basis of a wonderful vacation. The house was very nice & very clean, the views are beyond description (best sampled from the hot tub in the morning) and Mr. Burton was an excellent host. We hope to return. I highly recommend it!

AWESOME!!! I would encourage anyone wanting to vacation in the Yellowstone area to check this place out! The views are unbeatable, you are only 15 minutes from Yellowstone, your stay is nothing but peace and quiet (unlike staying at a campground), the place is kept up nice and neat, and Z. Burton, the host, will do anything to help your stay be a most memorable one. His suggestions on what to do in the area are great and he even helped me when my van had a flat tire. The jacuzzi is great after a day of exploring and the deck is amazing! Give this one a try! You WON'T regret it! My family had great fun!

We had a great time here, the week went by way too fast. The house was very nice hugh deck. The hot tub was so relaxing. The view from the house was so awsome. Staying here was one of the best things we did for our vacation. We were able to drop into the park everyday and see a new sight. Return home in the evening and enjoy the hot tub and decks. We spent early mornings on the deck enjoying the views. We can't wait to return in a couple of years!

My husband and I spent a week on this property and had the best vacation ever! The views stated in the ad did not begin to describe the breath taking views and peaceful spirit of this cabin. We fully enjoyed our stay...content to take in the local surroundings or relax at the cabin. We enjoyed morning dips in the jacuzzi while watching deer graze, read books while enjoying the decks, and truly embraced the peacefulness of this cabin. Don't forget your binoculars while staying at this cabin! Our host Z. Burton was gracious, down to earth, and always willing to answer a question about a local sight. This vacation was truly a vacation without the hassles, massive numbers of people, and intrusions.

We (and another couple) stayed in this cabin for five days, and it was everything we hoped it would be, and more. The cabin is especially clean and very comfortable, the four-level deck and hot tub are awesome, and the sound of water rushing over the rocks in Bear Creek lulls you to sleep at night. But it's the view, THE VIEW, that makes you feel like you've discovered a little piece of Heaven, and that you really hate to leave it, when it comes time to go. We'll be back!

We stayed a week at this cabin for our honeymoon in Yellowstone. The location is great; very close to the park. The place is beautiful, with wonderful decor. The decks are amazing! Relaxing in the jacuzzi, looking out over the open Montana landscape is a truly unforgettable experience. We could not have dreamed of a better honeymoon spot!
