Create lasting memories at this beautiful Oceanfront half duplex. There are spectacular ocean views from the open living room, kitchen, master bedroom and the oceanfront deck. It is the perfect place to gather and enjoy the company of family and friends - and you can include your furry family member too! We allow well behaved pets (dogs only) with a $100. non-refundable pet fee per pet (2 pet maximum).
Oceanfront living allows you to enjoy easy access to the beach and waking up and falling asleep to the sound of the surf. From the oceanfront deck you can watch the dolphins play, enjoy your morning coffee, an evening cocktail or relax and read in one of the rockers. On the beach you can swim, surf, fish, fly a kite, build sand castles, go shelling, go for a walk or just relax and catch some rays!
May through October is prime season for Surf, Boat and Pier Fishing. Homer's Point Marina and Seafood is 2.5 miles away and has a boat launch, gas and fishing supplies. Island Harbor Marina is about 6.5 miles from our home where you can launch your boat or charter one.
There is an oceanfront master with a queen bed and a private bath, a second bedroom with 2 full beds and a third bedroom with a Queen bed (all beds have Sealy pillowsoft mattresses). We have Wireless High Speed Internet access, free unlimited long distance within the US, 4 Color Cable TV's, Cable with HBO, 4 DVD Players, 2 VCR's, Board Games, Ceiling Fans throughout, iron/ironing board, wall-mounted hair dryers in both bathrooms, walkway to the beach with gate, and a covered oceanfront deck with furniture.
When you want to take a break from the beach there are plenty of activities to choose from: Bicycling (you can rent bikes on the island), Kayak and Boat rentals, boat tours and cruises, golf, mini golf, shopping, restaurants, NC Aquarium, amusement places, Ice Cream shops, Fort Macon State Park and much more!
Saturday to Saturday rental, NO SMOKING! Must be 25 or older to rent our home.

Our famiy just returned from a one week vacation. Our stay was wonderful!! The beach was amazing!! The pictures and description of the property were accurate. The home was clean with updated furniture and decor. However, I was not a. fan of soft mattresses. We are definitely considering booking again next year.

Our family which includes 2 kids and a dog had a great 4 days at this beach house. It was well stocked with anything you can think of or may have forgotten to bring with you. The beds were comfortable and it was so tastefully decorated. The beach was nice and quiet and a great playground for our dog. Would highly recommend it.

We stayed at Seahorse East the week of 4/25/09 and could have not asked for better accomodations. The unit was very clean and modern with incredible ocean views. Yes we did see dolphins several mornings..quite breathtaking. The units was stocked with anything you could possibly want from beach chairs and toys to dog supplies if you brought pets. There was nothing the owners forgot you really only need your personal items. The furnishings are updated and in very good condition. The beds were extremely comfortable. I would highly recommend staying at Seahorse East and hope to be back in the future.
