This exclusive waterfront location has some of the most beautiful views on Boston's north shore, south shore or Cape Cod. The sunrise and sunsets over the water and changing tides provide captivating views during the day and in the moonlight. You can walk out the door and be on your own secluded private beach and swim, kayak, or search for shells in the tide pools. Avoid Cape Cod's 5+ mile backups and crawling traffic - we are less than an hour from Boston by car and by commuter rail.
The "boat house" was built to store 30 foot racing boats in the winter and house guests in the summer. This is a typical summer beach rental with a well-used, casual, beachy feel. It's great for family get-togethers and relaxing. If you want anything fancy then this is not the house for you. If you want a relaxed, casual, and feel-good beach rental then this could be perfect. All bedrooms have views of the water and can hear the soothing sound of the waves at night. The beach is a combination of pebbles, sand and rocks surrounded by large rocky outcroppings which are great for climbing and exploring. We also have a large flat grassy lawn the size fo a tennis court that is perfect for frisbee and other family sports.
The upscale seaside village of Cohasset has a New England feel with boutique shops and restaurants a pretty harbor and yacht club.
2012 will be our 6th year of renting; we were booked every week in 2011 and expect to be fully booked again this coming summer so please book early to get your preferred week.

I'm the 4th generation to live on this private lane in Cohasset going back to the 1920's.
The Unique Benefits at this House
The property is so close to Boston but is still so secluded and private - that's really rare today. Where else can you go for a week where you'll just hear the sounds of the ocean and seagulls and not see anyone else unless you want to? The boat house itself is quirky but has a great energy; all our friends love to visit and just hang out and relax. It's been that way for generations.
Home of summer concerts from well known performers at night and children's performances during the day
Parking lot and then a 45 minute ride to Boston's South Station.
