Lovely cottage-style home right on the Chesapeake Bay, just minutes from the charming boating center of Rock Hall and all the wonders of Chestertown, Maryland. This beautiful house has lovely grounds, a large Gunnite pool, and a pebbled drive off a long private road with just 6 houses on it. It's the perfect place for kids to run around safely. The house is directly on the Chesapeake Bay (though no motor boat access--a public launch is just 3 miles from the house). Flat, sandy beach and shallow water for kids to play. Access to the beach is by walking over piled boulders; there are no steps or stairs to the water.
Walk along the beach with your morning coffee to collect sea glass, or drink a glass of wine overlooking the Bay as evening falls. Inside are professionally decorated interiors with a breathtaking second-story deck and great room overlooking the bay, comfortable beds and linens. Everything is stocked for entertaining so enjoy yourself at one of the most luxurious vacations rental on the bay. Have the beach to yourself--then retire to the pool or jog along practically deserted country roads. A spot of true serenity.
