  We enjoyed our stay. The property is very nice with the only improvement needed is a more comfortable bed. Although located adjacent to the swimming pool, noise from guests enjoying poolside was not very audible in our penthouse. However, wedding receptions routinely held in the large neighboring room detracted from our overall comfort. We do recognize hotel management is the resposible party.

I have had another couple comment on the larger penthouse and it is good for others reading the reviews to be aware there might be times when it is used for smaller wedding receptions and the rest of the time as an upscale lounge. • A Room with a View!

  We only had four nights in this comfortable and beautiful condo before we moved to the Hilton Hawaiian Village and spent the rest of our vacation wishing we could go back. It is cozy with an island feel and just like a home with all of it's amenities. We were able to walk wherever we needed to go or just step outside our door to swim or enjoy a beautiful ocean view. This is the perfect spot for a couple looking for a relaxing stay in the middle of Waikiki but close enough to be a part of the busy lifestyle if you're looking for excitement. Cindy was wonderful to work with and we hope we will be able to stay here again and again.

  My husband, our toddler and I all really enjoyed our stay  here. We have been to hawaii many times in the past but thought this penthouse was perfect for us.  The location was wonderful, close to everything and high enough to escape the noise & bustle of the city (which we dont have at home) The appartment has a perfectly set out kitchen to cook for my toddler, while we got take out from many of the local resturants. The beach is close enough to visit for a shirt swim and play in the sand then come back to our appartment for lunch and a rest before going out again. Cidy was extremly easy to work with, and very accomodating. We will be back again.

  Owner response: Dear Chelsea and future renters, So glad this worked out, however, this unit is BEST suited for just couples. The reasons being: The lanai being 27 floors up & with access to the pool definately requires close attention to a little one. Also it just having one bedroom & one bath can be challenging for more than two. That being said for new renters, I would still welcome you back along with the rest of my return renters with the above in mind! Thank you

  We just returned from a weeks stay(May 10 - 17). We were very at home. We have stayed at the Imperial many times, but this is one of the best. Location is great, views are nice. The beach is close and all the restaurants are withing walking distance. We will return here on our next visit.

  Recommended for: Romantic getaway, tourists without a car.

  I had the pleasure of staying in this wonderful penthouse in August 2011. The Imperial penthouse apartment is absolutely stunning and has fabulous views both of the ocean and the city at night – the pictures probably don’t do it justice. It’s compact but well laid out and the owners have obviously put a lot of thought and attention to detail into the refurbishment making for a very enjoyable home away from home. The owners even left a bottle of wine with a note to enjoy which was a lovely and personal touch. I have been coming to Hawaii for many years and stayed in numerous hotels and condos but I can honestly say the Imperial Penthouse is by far the best and I will definitely be back – only wish I was able to stay longer than 10 nights on this trip. A big thank you to Cindy who kindly provided me with an early check in and made the whole booking process so easy. Look forward to returning again in 2012.

  My wife, 18 month old son and I stayed in this penthouse for a week. My wife thought it was too cheap to be true but it was perfect. Wonderful people to deal with, great friendly staff @ the Imperial, close to everything and well priced, great restaurants, terrific shopping, the beach and of course an ABC store underneath us!! I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Don't think about it too long in case you miss out! Early check-in (9am) was even organised for us so that our son could have a quick nap after the flight. The friday night fireworks were amazing from the owners lounge, as was access to the pool from our penthouse lanai door! Thankyou, Thankyou, Thankyou, for a wonderful week. We can't wait to be back.

  We have just returned from a 9 night stay at this penthouse. It was just perfect. The bed was really comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed and more! The views were breathtaking (and we have views of Sydney Harbour at home, so we are spoilt!) The pool area is much much nicer than the photos show - and having the pool off the balcony is just so special and convenient. The apartment is right in the hub of great shopping and a 3 minute walk to the beach. ABC store in the building is great - and its open almost 24 hours. Valet staff very friendly and efficient. Dont go to Denny's - crappest food every - House with No Keys at the Hallekulani right across the road great for cocktails at sunset and an early dinner. The walk to the top of Diamond Head was great fun - but go early - ie before 9am. All in all - this was a 5 star holiday - thank you Cindy for your great service....I know I hounded you with so many questions. We will be back next year and I will tell all our friends that this is THE place to stay in Waikiki.

  My wife and I LOVED this property for our Honeymoon! We had been to Waikiki, Honolulu, Oahu, Hawaii before and this property was beautiful and the location was spectacular! This well appointed property with a huge ocean view lanai and private access to the rooftop pool is a MUST rent for anyone looking to spend time in Waikiki. Clean, quiet, good value. Bottom Line: If you are even considering renting this property, RENT IT! You will NOT be disappointed! Furthermore, you will be hard pressed to find a property with this space, view, furnishings and locations for the same value!

  My husband and I stayed in this lovely condo for 2 weeks in March 2011. It was very easy to book, and the condo is exactly as advertised. The renovations are really nice, particularly the kitchen. We did a fair amount of cooking, and the kitchen is well stoked with everything you might need. Condo is low on noise, and has very easy access to the hotel pool. The view from the lanai is quite nice...there are both ocean and city views, including the mountains. Nice patio furniture on the lanai. In addition, the hotel staff are friendly, and the location is wonderful. We would definitely be interested in staying here again if we ever make our way back to Honolulu!
