Hamilton House cottage description
This is one unique property --- it's one of a kind. A cozy yet spacious cottage that overlooks a grassy courtyard and it just across the street from the beach (Gulf of Mexico). About a 30 second walk!
Every time you walk across the street you can consider saving $50 - $100 because that is how much they charge more than we do - those properties on the actual beach.
You can also save by preparing your own food since it has a full kitchen. This way you can have a very inexpensive wonderful vacation that is easy on your budget. You can drive and park your auto along side of your cottage. Come and get away from the snow up North.
Ours is a lovely, uncrowded beach as there are no public parking lots for blocks in either direction. There are many great restaurants and fun hangouts within walking distance such as the original Crabby Bill's, PJ's Oyster Bar, Guppy's and much more. Also walk to fishing and boat rentals.
We allow certain pets so inquire.
Guests of ours love the porch since most places just don't have porches anymore. The porches are a lovely place to dine and breathe the sea air. You can BBQ in the courtyard
Our history of the cottages is that Arthur Godfrey used to broadcast from the courtyard back in the 50's. This was one of the original resorts that started the Gulf Beach trend that now is so popular. It is one of the few original resorts left on the beach. In the very early years of Florida history the Indians brought their sick to heal them in the mineral springs that are still running under this property.

Year Purchased: 1988
About: We took this beach property and have made it into a cute, economical beach resort. It's unusual because we have "GRASS". Yes, grass isn't around anymore around the beach. Plus, we have the older spacious porches that people loved back in the days.
Why Hamilton House:
This area is great and peaceful and safe. Also, Florida beach property is an excellent investment.
The Unique Benefits at this Cottage:
A real feeling of how it was in the 50's through present day. Arthur Godfrey used to broadcast from this exact property in the 50's. Also you'll feel like you're in a "home away from home", as you can cook and relax in separate rooms.
