Located in the Mountain base area off of Mt Werner road, this beautiful brand new town home is less than ½ mile from the base of the Steamboat Ski Resort, which is a short ride on the Free shuttle, a quick 3 minutes when driving by car, or a 5-10 minute walk up the hill! You can also forget about scraping the snow and ice off your windshield by parking your vehicle in our heated garage where there is plenty of room to store your skis and snowboards in the winter or bikes and golf clubs in the Summer.
Upon entering our home you will marvel at the attention to detail in everything from the distressed wide-plank wood flooring, to the hand-hewn log railings and warm hues from the custom designed rooms. After you remove your shoes in the slate entryway, hang your coat and store your accessories in one of 8 wood cubbies, you enter the first of 2 living rooms where you will spend your evening discussing the day’s adventures in front of the large rock fireplace while relaxing on the fine leather furniture.
The open floor plan on the 1st level allows you to move freely among the kitchen, dining area and extra large living room with high 10 foot ceilings and plenty of windows framing the beautiful steamboat surroundings! The fully equipped kitchen will be a welcome site for the cook in your family and includes custom slate flooring, slab granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and a large center island with bar seating.
When your meal is complete, your group is free to watch a movie or catch the big game on the 32” flat screen TV with DVD in the main living room. You are also free to finish that favorite novel or plan the next day’s adventures in front of the gas fireplace. You can even send the kids upstairs to the second living room where they can be entertained with their own 40” flat screen TV with DVD. If you need to check up on work during your stay, there is Free high speed wireless internet access so you can make your employer “think” you are still working hard by answering a few emails.
After you decide to retire for the evening and rest your muscles from a day on the slopes or a hike in the mountains, the master bedroom suite includes a king size bed, vaulted ceiling, 26” flat panel TV w/DVD, and a private bathroom featuring his and her sinks, slab granite counters, stone floor, stand alone jetted tub and separate shower crafted from granite and enclosed with a 6 ft solid glass door. Or, perhaps you would like to walk across the driveway to soak your sore muscles in one of the 2 hot tubs while watching the stars in the clear sky, and take advantage of the heated changing rooms to dry off!
The second bedroom includes a queen bed and private full bath as well, and the 3rd bedroom is perfect for the kids with a bunk bed (2 twins) and a trundle bed. Additionally, the upstairs living room is furnished with a queen sleeper sofa with a full bathroom adjacent—a total of 3 full bathrooms upstairs and 1 half-bath on the 1st level.
When you leave, our goal is to have you dreaming about the days spent exploring Steamboat’s mountains and valleys and telling everyone back home how incredible your stay was in our wonderful mountain home!
