Key Allegro is a beautiful waterfront residential community located on a 260 acre island mid-way between Rockport and Fulton. The area is home to exceptional shopping, restaurants, art galleries, bird-watching to include the winter home of the endangered Whooping Crane and some of the best flats and bay fishing on the Texas Gulf Coast. A 30-minute drive puts you within reach of Port Aransas and great offshore fishing; or Corpus Christi which boasts the Texas State Aquarium and the USS Lexington, North Padre Island Beach, endless shopping and an international airport. A casino cruise ship operates out of Port Aransas. Rockport has an exceptionally nice beach that is protected and perfect for kids.
The unit was completely remodeled in 2005. Downstairs is a bedroom with one queen bed and a set of bunkbeds and the bath has a walk in shower. The back deck is just outside the living area and features a full retractable awning for year round enjoyment.
Upstairs are two bedrooms with queen beds and a one bath with a tub/shower combination and separate dressing areas for each bedroom. The beautiful extra large master bedroom has a balcony overlooking the Key Allegro Marina and his and hers sinks.
Big Jon's Palapa Restaurant and Bar is just a short stroll away at the marina, where they will fix your fresh catch of the day or you can enjoy other great local seafood. Live music is featured on the weekends.
Fly a kite at the beach, wet a line off the back deck, enjoy a book on the upstairs balcony or just sit and relax while the sun sets over the water - whatever you like to do is more fun in Rockport!
