MY WIFE THINKS THAT OUR GUESTS SHOULD TELL YOU ABOUT THIS PROPERTY AND I SHOULD SHUT UP! So we compromised. I'll let our guests tell you about Amazing Grace first (these all are on the comment page), then I'll sneak in a word:
"We have been coming to North Topsail for over 10 years. Last year we stayed at Amazing Grace for a week in July. It was the most pleasant of all the duplexes we have rented."
"Amazing Grace is truly a great find! The location is gorgeous, just steps from a quiet spot on the beach, and you can hear the ocean from every room in the house. We found ourselves wanting for nothing during our stay, with the exception of another week!"

THIS GORGEOUS BEACH DUPLEX IS PET-FRIENDLY - AND IN BEAUTIFUL SHAPE. Some of our guests bring their four footed members of their families and they absolutely love it.
Imagine shrimp on the grill, kids on the beach, and a cold beverage in your hand as you sit on the deck above the dunes. The wide beach invites you to stay all day long.
Amazing Grace is BEACH FRONT. It is not a piano lot, or a view between two houses, or in a condominium complex. It is a real OCEANFRONT house. Sit on the beach or sit on a marvelous deck just a few feet away from the crashing waves.
Do you like to bike or run? There is a bike shoulder on the main road the entire way from the north to south. The island is like 22 miles long, so you can get a good work out.
You can even bike for fun (like I do). Recently I rode my bike to the south end, and the smell of Jasmin and ocean air was unbelievable. I stopped on the far south point of the island and walked around the beach on the undeveloped point. I then rode back to Topsail Beach city hall and said hi to the ladies who worked there. (They had kindly sent me an invitation to pay real estate tax in their city even though my house is not in their city. I graciously declined :-) but they were very pleasant!) I then rode back to Surf City and promptly bought an ice cream cone at DQ just to make sure I hadn't burnt off too many calories, then leisurely rode back to the beach house.
Believe me, this place is fun.
And I haven't even told you about Giligan's, just before the bridge on the mainland side and it's hilarious karaoke nights, or about Sears Landing and its award winning clam chowder made with sherry, or Indigo Marsh - the best restaurant overlooking the sound that you will ever find. Oh, and how about the fresh fish market (I mean right off the boat) behind the Crab Pot where you can get shrimp, flounder, shark or whatever they have been catching and take it back and grill it.
Or you can play 18 holes at Coastal Carolina's only four-star golf course, North Shore Golf and Ocean Club (as per Golf Digest). Perhaps you would like to deep sea or surf fish...or maybe spend an hour with your son or daughter fishing off the sound dock just steps from your beachfront villa. And did we mention riding jet skis on the nearby sound?

This was our second visit to Amazing Grace, and we were pleasantly surprised by some of the updates that were made. New flooring, carpeting, painting and furnishings spruced things up... the place looks great! The reason we went back was not only for the great accommodation, it was for the incredible views from all balconies, and for the relaxed atmosphere Topsail Island offers. We walked up and down the beach for miles, with very few people in sight. Quiet, clean and relaxing... exactly the trip we were looking for. We're already looking forward to our next visit to Amazing Grace!Recommended for: Age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Just returned home from our stay at Amazing Grace. We had a wonderful weekend. The house was very clean and one of the most well maintained beach homes I've rented. The house was well represented in the pictures and descriptions although I believe there have been upgrades to the home since the photos. Beautiful views from both decks. We were lucky enough to enjoy meteor showers both nights we were there! Our (adult) children enjoyed fishing on the surf and my dog & I enjoyed long walks on the beach. I highly recommend this rental!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, pet owners, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

My family had a great time at Amazing Grace again! (repeat renter!) The updates to the house are wonderful and made an already awesome house even better! We would recommend this house for sure! Amazing Grace is just that...Amazing! We had a wonderful time and plan on returning next summer. Loved the decor! The house was clean, and we really enjoyed spending time on the beautiful deck and the view was outstanding. Being so close to the beach is the only way to vacation. Kids loved it too! It was tough to come back to Ohio.Recommended for: Pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

Amazing Grace met all of our expectations!!! Nicely furnished with the beach theme! And the sand is right down the back steps! Kitchen has all the necessary equipment. Owner is prompt to respond to any problems. We had a great time......................Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway.

We had a fantastic week and Amazing grace was a wonderful house for our family. I would definatly go back.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children.

The rate is discounted from the already low off-season rate - and you can change your weekend at the last second if the weather turns bad. Some restrictions apply, but we try to make you very happy.

So close to the ocean! With a small child with us, it was great not having to lug beach toys back and forth a long way. Everything was clean and comfortable and the family had a wonderful time. We plan to return!Recommended for: Pet owners, families with young children.

Spending a few days at "Amazing Grace" was exactly what we needed... peace and quiet, beautiful views, all the comforts of home on the most incredible property ever! It was very clean, so all we had to do was drop our things and start relaxing. I highly recommend this rental property. The owners are great to deal with it. We are already looking forward to our next get-away to this little piece of heaven!Recommended for: Age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.
