This property is situated on the "St. Lawrence Narrows" so you can share the water with the great freighters! Off to the left of the cottages is a great swimming area protected by small islands and with a beautiful babbling brook.
In just 5 minutes (by boat or car) you can enjoy Alexandria Bay and one of the many events (1000 Islands Poker Run, Kidrific Weekend, Pirate Weekend, Concerts in the Park...) or take in the scenery of Wellesley Island known for its magnificent nature trails and historic Thousand Island Park.

We love the peacefulness of the water and the privacy of our location with the benefit of great destinations (Clayton or Alex Bay) by boat or by car! The two cottages are also great to spread out a bit on your vacation.

Enjoy fishing off the dock, watching the Herons fly by, kayak in the peaceful creek or just sit on the dock and enjoy the sun (and when the sun goes down, fire up the wood burning hot tub!)

We stayed in waterfront cabin for a week at the end of the summer and had a fantastic time. The Thousand Islands are an incredible place and if you have a boat this cabin is perfect. The waterfront cabin is cozy and practically hangs over the water providing fantastic views all day and night of the river, ships, and bridge. I kept my boat at the dock all week (included in the rent) and was out on the water by 8am most days. The bedrooms and bathroom are tight and you have to bring in drinking water, but the location is ideal and the views are worth the rent alone. The house was clean and well maintained, the owners are very friendly and helpful. We plan to rent here again.
Recommended for:Sightseeing, pet owners, romantic getaway.

During our visit to Wellesley Island in June 2009 we stayed in the sunny days cottage and we had a great time!! The view from the cottage was breathtaking. Our kids had fun fishing off the dock and watching the ships pass bye. My husband really enjoyed relaxing in the wood fired hot tub. We will definitely make this an annual family vacation. The owners were so nice to deal with. We would highly recommend this vacation property.
