Aloha! This unit was very nice. clean and had a great view of the mountains. The area was quiet, even though it was close to the beach. The location was within walking distance to the zoo, beach, shops and whatever you would want to see, even within walking distance to have your mai tai at the "Pink Lady", the Royal Hawiian Hotel. DeBus ran by the hotel, plus the different trolleys. We didn't rent a car, so it was handy to catch the bus to go to different places. There was a farmer's market on Tuesday and Friday at the community center next to the hotel. We were greeted by Thom when we arrived and were given a familiariztion tour of the unit and also when we left. I would recomment this unit to anyone wanting to stay in the Waikiki area.
Recommended for:Tourists without a car.

Wonderfull clean condo, lots of towels and sheets. We had a wonderfull stay, very much recomended and we will diffently go back. Thank you so much Kai for all your help. The condo is very close to all the restuarants. Five minute walk to the beach.

I have stayed at the Banyan 4 times now and have had a wonderful experience each time. Kai and Thon are the best to deal with and always go above and beyond to help you out. The room feels like a home away from home and I hope to make another visit very soon.

In October 2010, my husband and I spent two wonderful weeks in the Kona Suite at the Waikiki Banyan. In addition to the beauty of Hawaii, the apartment was exactly as described in the listing photos, very neat, clean an well maintained. Not only we recommend this property: we' re intending to go back there this year. Kai and Thon were excellent help and back up everytime it was needed and we proudly like to consider them as friends. What a pleasant surprise in a quiet corner of Waikiki. This beats hotel living by a mile, for my business travel. Full kitchen, convenient parking, close to beaches and the strip, pool on site. The owners were immensely helpful and obliging. Highly recommended!

My wife and I spent a month, with are infant son, in the care of Kai and Thon at the Waikiki Sunset. I can't say enough about how well we were treated by these two gentlemen. The condo more than met our needs and we also enjoyed more then our share of sunsets from the lanai. This suite is very close to a local market for fresh fruit, vegetables and treats. A very short walk to the beach and many fine eateries. This was our first VRBO experience and we will definitely stay with them again. I have recommended this condo to many friends and anyone who tells me they are going to be visiting Waikiki. My only regret is that I haven't posted this review sooner.
