This Tuscan-style fabulous oceanview "Villa Bella Malibu" was conceived, designed and constructed by Malibu's premier architectural design firm, Hearthstone by Robb Daniels and completed in 2005. Old World character is built into every nook and cranny. Ideally located across from Malibu's world class surfing beach and very close to the most pristine swimming beaches in all of Southern California.
There is a neighborhood fish restaurant where you can eat outdoors or indoors and watch kite surfers leap into the air performing their feats of wonder and surfers hanging ten and riding the curl of the perfect waves. There are hiking trails with grottos and waterfalls nearby.
It is 40 minutes to the newly redone Ghetty museum. You can take a boat off Malibu pier and go deep sea fishing or whale watching. You can deep sea dive or snorkle off the local reef only two blocks from the house or take a one-hour drive to Santa Barbara for the day, shop have dinner, catch a show and be home in an hour and 15 minutes.
You are 2o minutes driving to the Camarillo Outlet Mall, where you can shop-til-you-drop or eat at the myriad of restaurants or catch a show at one of the local theatres.
For the laid back vacationers you can enjoy a good book from the well-stocked library with its own ocean view deck and fountain, or sit in the garden and watch the amazing array of wild birds as they bathe in the imported stone fountain, or take a dip in the private, outdoor spa and let the bunnies and squirrels entertain you.
If being a couch potato appeals to you, there are three large HD LCD TVs with Tivo and loads of cable channels like HBO, Showtime, ESPN, etc. And there is a Wi Fi computer system in the house with a lap top computer for your personal use. There is a steam shower for two in the Master bath and a separate spa tub.
French doors lead to the adjoinging outdoor loggia where there is a totally private outdoor spa with a completely private hot or cold shower. Here you can soak and enjoy the views nnd sounds of the sea, the humming birds darting in and out of the water in the imported stone fountain, and admire the statuary gardens and the lovely mature landscaping.
It is virtually impossible to be bored or unhappy here, and did I mention the sun sets every day behind the Anacappa Islands for your reverie and pleasure and it can be seen from almost every room in the house? We like to watch it set from the loggia hammock off the Master Bedroom.
This is truly the paradise you have been looking for without the inconvenience of being stranded on an island - there is so much to see and do here - paradise awaits you. |
