This One bedroom Cutie is located on the same property as our listing 20443 though it has a separate street entrance. We call it the 'Ohana Cottage' In the Hawaiian language, the term “Ohana” refers to your family. Built around 1950, this house is typical Hawaiiana.
A charming and cozy retreat with comfortable furnishings, the cottage is approximately 500 square feet, with one bedroom and one bathroom. The bedroom offers a queen sized bed with a full bathroom and shower. The comfortable living room offers blue water and mountain views. Outside the cottage, you can luxuriate in the cool ocean breezes while you watch the whales glide by during their winter migration. Sleeps two in a private, smoke-free environment.
Amenities. The cottage comes equipped with a TV, VCR, queen sized bed, refrigerator and utility kitchen. Washer and Dryer are also included. Barbeque your “catch of the day” and enjoy your meals at the table in the back. After the beach you can wash off the sand in the outside shower.

The cottage was very well equipped. Unfortunately we did not spend much time here or eat any meals at the cottage. We would use the cottage again because of the great location.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, sightseeing.

We've spend 5 nights in this nice little cottage and enjoyed it very much. It was very quiet, located in a garden. From the eating area we had an ocean view. The age recommendations for this was 55+ when we reviewed this rental, but we hardly fit that genre and we thought it was absolutely perfect for our week away from life! Close to many beaches and activities. Very quiet neighborhood. The beach gear is a great addition. We would definitely stay here again.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, girls getaway.

The cottage was clean and well-supplied with an extremely comfortable bed. Located a short walk from beaches and the Grand Hyatt, we enjoyed the Poipu area very much. We love Kauai and can't wait to return.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, romantic getaway.

My husband and I recently made our first trip to Kaua'i and we stayed in this cottage. It was the perfect size for the two of us! We enjoyed the use of the new grill and the lanai. We were also pleased with the chairs, boogie board, and beach towels that were available for us to use! It was a nice, quiet, private place for us to stay - a wonderful contrast to the resorts along Poipu Beach!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, sightseeing.

First of all I want to say that these pictures do not do the one bedroom cutie justice! This is the perfect place for a couple traveling on a budget, and it is a lovely property. It is on the "point" at Poipu and is within walking distance to Brenneke's beach and the Hyatt. The bedroom is very nice and airy and the cottage is located behind the main house across the lawn. The only think lacking is a night stand or shelf near the bed. We especially enjoyed being able to eat meals at ''home" and the use of the grill. We liked this place very much and the owner is very helpful if you need anything. There are also great beach chairs and boogie boards as well as snorkeling gear for you to use. We loved it!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, tourists without a car, romantic getaway.

We spent our belated honeymoon in the Ohana Cottage and it was lovely. It was the perfect size and had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. The location is perfect - walking distance to great beaches, restaurants and the resorts. There is even a great little ocean view. The owner Wendy was a pleasure to deal with and was available if needed. We will definitely return someday!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, tourists without a car, romantic getaway.
