This house is amazing. We traveled with 2 other couples to relax in Napa. This house is so well equiped, comfortable and CHARMING!!! The linens were of the highest quality, kitchen well equiped and living room with fireplace was inviting and comfortable. My favorite was the view of the traquil and peaceful backyard from the french doors in the kitchen! It almost reminded me of Italy. This is a marvelous alternative to a hotel and the best way to fully enjoy Napa with friends is to rent the Laurel house!! We will definitely stay again!Did you find this review helpful? Our group of five had an incredible stay at the Laurel House. The owner was able to easily accommodate our late arrival, and the place was very easy to find. The location is an easy walking distance to downtown Napa. We loved having a kitchen to prepare a few meals; and we recommend buying supplies from the Oxbow Public Market. The hot tub was also a wonderful way to unwind at the end of the day. The property is beautiful and the house was clean and comfortable. We can't wait to come back! Thank you!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

My family including 6 adults and 1 toddler (23 months) stayed here for two nights and loved the place. It is quite spacious inside and has all the amenities including cable, DVD's, and a well stocked kitchen if you like to cook! It was a great experience, close to downtown Napa and the owner was easy to work with. I'd gladly stay again!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

My wife and I, along with my brother-in-law and sister-in-law stayed at Laurel House for our trip to wine country. The home is in a nice neighborhood and is centrally located. The home was quaint and charming and served as a great home base for us on our trip. The back yard was a great place to sit and sip some of our newly found wines and the home had everything we needed during our stay. Matthew was great to work with and everything went smoothly during our time in Napa.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

My husband and family stayed at the Laurel House during Thanksgiving break, and it was our first time renting a home while on vacation. And what a great experience. The home was beautiful - just like the pictures show. Three bedrooms and two full bathrooms. Of course the best bathroom being in the Master Bedroom - with a claw foot tub and separate shower! The beds were so comfortable - I have never slept so soundly while on vacation. The house comes fully stocked with towels - no worries there - and a hairdryer. As for shampoo/conditioner - previous guests have left behind lots of things. Which actually made for a nice perk. Bar soap was minimal, so I would suggest bringing or buying extra. The house had a hot tub, which we used once. And the workout room / office was in a separate building, just behind the house (off the kitchen). The kitchen was great, we found all kinds of thing people left behind. Especially nice were the coolers we found in the pantry - which we used while on our daily wine trips! All in all, the house was close to downtown Napa - you could really walk to it! We were also close to the wineries - a big plus! When we visit Napa again, we'll be sure to check the availability of the Laurel House! I highly recommend you do too!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We loved staying at the Laurel House as our base for our Napa wine country vacation. My wife and I took our two sons; age 21 and 23 to Napa for their '21st' birthdays. They each had there own queen bed. This worked out much better and actually cheaper than staying in two hotel rooms. The house is in a residential area but fairly close to downtown Napa. The street is a teeny bit busy but not bad at all. The kitchen and bathrooms were updated with high-end components. The backyard is so well landscaped that you can't see any of your neighbors. We felt like we were in our own private garden. The separate office/workout room was a cool feature.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing.

My friends and I stayed in this beautiful home this past weekend. It was perfect! 6 girlfriends from highschool who haven't had time away together for 15 years, we wanted a place that was comfortable and accomodating. Laurel House is it! We are all professionals (and mothers) in our 30s, enjoying a siesta from our hectic lives . . . this house was the perfect size! So nice to have dining table to seat all of us, 3 bdrms with queen-king sized beds, and 2 full bathrooms! Plus, the kitchen is great - it is wrapped in windows, looking out to the very zen-like garden. Several of us took the time to do Yoga outside in the morning (even after drinking plenty of wine the previous day/night) - it just felt that good! I slept like a baby in the bed, which is a lot for me to say - I only stay at Starwood Resorts because of their high quality bed sets. Oh, and did I mention we were able to walk downtown for dinner! (Whole Foods/Trader Joes is only a very short car ride away if you want to eat in). You will not be disappointed! We only live an hour from Napa - and my parents actually have a time share here - I would still rent this house again even if it were just for me and my husband!Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children, tourists without a car, girls getaway.

We had a wonderful family stay at the Laurel House over Christmas. It was very well appointed, sparkling clean, and very comfortable. We particularly enjoyed the large kitchen for cooking and the hot tub. The master bath is really nice, with beautiful shower and soaking tub. The yard is lovely too, even though we visited during the rainy season, so did not use it as much. The home is easy walking distance to downtown, Napa River, local cafes/restaurants, and attractive neighborhoods for exploring. Highly recommend this home!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

I just took my wife and a friend for a great weekend at Laurel House. The house was the perfect home base for a Napa trip. It’s a very charming house, well decorated and well cared for. It puts you into the Napa state of mind right away. The location is very close to all of the downtown action in Napa of late, including many tasting rooms and restaurants. Don’t miss the Oxbow Public Market for a great selection of local produce and gourmet foods. Great place to stock up for a day of wine tasting and touring. The house has everything you need. The kitchen is very well equipped. There is a nice, large TV and a DVD collection as well as games for entertainment. The WiFi internet connection works well. The backyard is great. The location is quiet and peaceful. The beds are very comfortable. The bathrooms are stocked with towels and any sundries you may have forgotten. You really can’t go wrong here. It is generally more affordable and a more fun way to spend time with your travel companions. And the owners have done an over the top job of giving you everything you need. A counter in the kitchen even has literature on local attractions. In the kitchen you’ll also find a detailed list of Napa restaurants, including menus and in a separate box, little cards you can take with you that have directions to the restaurants from Laurel House. Thanks so much to Matthew and his family for creating such a great place for us to spend our trip. We are already looking forward to our next trip.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing.

The location of the house was wonderful, within a half mile of the interstate. Not only was the place convenient, but it was neat as a pin, very spacious, and very well equipped. I simply can not say enough nice things about this place. It was also our first use of VRBO, and we were all pleasantly surprised at how well our stay turned out. Thank you again for your hospitality and attention to detail.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.
