Location, Location, Location! This is a direct 15th floor beach-front condo in the heart of Gulf Shores just blocks from Highway 59. All the amusement parks, restaurants, and activities of the Gulf Shores/Orange Beach area are easily accessed from the complex.
The magnificent 15th floor balcony commands a bird's eye view of the beautiful sugary beaches of Gulf Shores and forever views of the Gulf of Mexico. Dolphins and aquatic bird life abound, so bring your binoculars! Collect seashells for hours on these forgotten soft white beaches.
Our condo is well-equipped with all the essentials. The Master King Bedroom sits just off the balcony and affords a sleeping view of the Gulf. The private master bath has a Jacuzzi tub with a separate shower and a walk-in closet.
The second king bedroom allows for another couple (or this 2nd Bedroom makes the condo perfect for larger families). This bedroom also has a private bath accessible 2 ways – directly from the bedroom, or from an alcove - which allows for privacy.
In addition to the 2 king bedrooms, there is a smaller room with two twin bunks - perfect for the kids. The intimate bunk room provides the perfect chance for the kids to build their sleeping forts and chit-chat into the night. Parents will love that the kids can be closed off separate from the noise of the rest of the condo. There are also 2 portable playpen/ packnplays & a highchair in the condo available for use, as well as a closet full of beach/pool toys, and games for children and the young at heart.
All bedrooms have 400 thread count Egyptian Cotton sheets with high quality mattresses – perfect for a therapeutic retreat from your hectic lives! There is Satellite TV and DVD in the bedrooms and living room, an IPOD friendly stereo in the living area, and free wireless broadband internet (bring your wireless enabled laptop).
The large living area has a view of the Gulf and entrance to the balcony as well. In addition, we have a full size kitchen stocked with all the cooking essentials which allows for economical meals. You can relax and enjoy a meal on the large balcony which overlooks the ocean and has a new outdoor dining table. There is also a full sized laundry room in the condo with a full sized washer and dryer.
Families will also love the two large outdoor pools (one is zero entry for younger children), two large community hot tubs and easy beach access that this complex affords. There is a separate heated indoor pool for the cooler months, and a well-equipped fitness room and sauna. Walk to a beachside bar and restaurant located just steps from the complex.

Second time at lighthouse, first time in this unit. The unit and place in general are really great!!! The view from the 15th floor is breathtaking, and the unit is very comfortable. The closet of all the beach/pool toys, chairs, etc was extremely nice, and the kitchen was nicely stocked as well. The owners were extremely easy to get a hold of and work with, which always makes things go much more smoothly. Also, the low all-inclusive rate is great!!! I couldn't recommend this place, and in particular this unit, more!!! You will have an amazing time! PS. Go do the Cold Mil Fleet dolphin cruise in Orange Beach, it is unlike any other dolphin cruise and you will be amazed!!! Also walking distance to Sea N Suds is awesome!

Perfect location for large family. Best furnishings of my condo and great pools indoor and out. Well stocked kitchen and the beach toys available for use made packing easier and lighter. Will definitely stay again.

Family of 4 plus BFs stayed here from Dec 26 til Dec 30....our first time in Gulf Shores...the condo was excellent in every way! Owner was MOST hospitable we had great communication throughout the stay! We want to return in the warmer months if possible, but weather was great while we were there, and we enjoyed the beach, hot tub, patio, shopping, and restaurants (Lambert's and Lulu's were favorites). I would highly recommend this owner and property! Thanks so much :)

This is the second time we stayed in the Lighthouse but the first time we rented this unit. This unit was great! It was everything we wanted. It was spacious, and well-appointed, a very family-friendly place to stay!. The owners have provided lots of information about places to eat and things to do. It made the stay very easy and enjoyable. This condo is close to EVERYTHING! The owners were extremely helpful and gracious. We definitely recommend this condo.

Our family of four, along with another family of three, enjoyed a full weeks stay here this summer! The condo owner was extremly easy to work with & very quick to respond to any request or questions! I would highly recommend this unit for your next stay in Gulf Shores! The kitchen was well stocked & there was plenty of pool/beach toys available for use! Both of our two families were very pleased!

RENTAL AGREEMENT Lighthouse Unit #1513 Rental Information and Terms Emergency while at the Condo: 911 NO PETS ALLOWED. NO SMOKING IN THIS CONDO. Directions to the Lighthouse Condominium building: Take Highway 59 South to Gulf Shores (all the way to the beach) Take a left and go about ½ mile. (If you decide to take the Foley Beach Express Route, you will arrive at Beach Blvd just east of the building – in this case take a right on Beach Blvd) The Lighthouse is a large condo building on the beachside: 455 East Beach Blvd Parking and Access: Parking passes are required for all vehicles. 1 Pass will be provided by mail or located in the condo for your stay and included in your total rental rate. 1 additional pass may be requested for $10 more. All passes are good for the entire stay. The lot can be crowded during the summer months. We have found that interior parking spots are small, and lot ramps are tight for larger vehicles. Please be careful maneuvering large vehicles in the parking lots. There is no common lobby staff or concierge service, but there is a business office staffed during business hours on the 2nd floor (unless there is an emergency, this office should not be needed). From the parking lot floors, take the center elevator to floor 15. Head west on the main corridor to unit #1513. There is a combination lock on the condo door. I will send you the combination in a separate email once final payment is made & a few days prior to your beach arrival date. At the door, please push the ‘Schlage’ button at the top of the keypad, then enter the entry code. The light will flash to green and then turn the latch open. To lock it back, simply push the ‘schlage’ button, and turn the latch closed. Please be sure the door is closed and locked prior to leaving. Wireless internet is provided and instructions for accessing it will be emailed prior to your beach stay, as well as instructions for obtaining your parking passes. On Arrival: Please do not plan on arriving before 4 pm. This will allow for our cleaning staff to properly clean the unit. Unfortunately, there is no baggage storage prior to checking in. Use the room thermostat to control air temperature (curtains can be closed or opened on the main balcony doors to help control heat in the summer). On arriving, please check the unit for any obvious damage or disrepair. Contact the owners at the number listed above to report any concerns. On Departure: Check out time is strictly set at 11:00am or sooner and there is no baggage storage after check-out. Our cleaning staff will enter the unit just after 11:00am and they may be on a tight schedule preparing for future guests . Please sack all trash and place in the chute outside the door. Please do not leave any food items in the condo or refrigerator. Please wash the dishes in the dishwasher with the provided detergent and put them away for the next guests. Your courtesy with the linens and towels is much appreciated. On arrival beds will be made and sheets clean. Please help us in this process by returning used linens to the laundry floor. Leave comforters folded on the beds so that they may be taken for drycleaning. If you help us by laundering sheets or towels yourself, please leave the clean items folded on the beds, so that cleaning staff will know they are already clean. Please leave the water heater on when leaving. Our cleaning staff will arrive shortly after your departure to clean and secure the unit. Please return the thermostat to its original setting (58 degree heat in winter, 82 degree AC in summer). WE CANNOT RETURN ANY ITEMS LEFT IN THE CONDO. Please check thoroughly for personal and valuable items prior to leaving the unit at 11:00am. Personal pillows and blankets are the most commonly left items. Items Provided: The unit is fully furnished with all cooking utensils, silverware, bedclothes, and bath towels. You will need to bring all paper products, beach towels, trash bags, minor cleaning supplies, toiletries and groceries. There is a full kitchen with refrigerator, range/oven, microwave, dishwasher, washer and dryer. (There is not detergent always provided.) A coffee maker, toaster, and blender are provided, as well as a hair-dryer. We also have a notebook of restaurant menus & local attractions. Sometimes, guests will leave laundry detergent and some unused paper products and trash bags on leaving the unit as a courtesy to the next guests, but the availability of these items is not guaranteed. Feel free to leave a small amount of these items as a courtesy to future guests. Please keep children away from cleaning items and chemicals provided or brought. Please be careful with the granite countertops in the unit. Do not use abrasives or harsh cleaners (a warm soapy washcloth should be sufficient). Please address any spills as soon as possible, so that liquid is not allowed to soak in. The same goes for the carpet and the rest of the condo. There is cable TV in each room. Remotes and channel lists should be available near each TV. The stereo in the living room is IPOD friendly (there is an auxiliary wire just beside the receiver/DVD player), but please do not blast the speakers. There is wireless broadband internet available for your wireless enabled devices. Search for the wireless network with the name Lighthouse. The telephone number for the unit is (251) 948-1516. Outgoing direct long distance use is blocked, but 800 numbers for calling cards are allowed. Other local use is free. Your cellular telephones should work at the unit as we have found excellent reception on most networks. The trash chute is located just outside the door to the unit. Please use this for all household trash. Reservations, Payments, and Cancellations: Full payment of the entire rental is due one week prior to arrival. Checks and credit cards are accepted. All rates are subject to an 11% total lodging and sales tax which should already be included in your total. In order to reserve the unit for a particular stay, we require a $300 deposit. This deposit is fully refundable up until 30 days prior to your arrival. The deposit will be applied to the full rental rate prior to arrival. After that, we can only allow for refund of this deposit and any paid rents for the following reasons: 1. Storm events: If a local government authority calls for the mandatory or voluntary evacuation of the Gulf Shores beach area due to a storm event that interferes with your arrival, we will refund your deposit and any paid rents and cancel your reservation. If a government-called evacuation were to occur after your arrival, you will be refunded for any time not used at the condo due to the evacuation prorated per day. 2. Unoccupiable Condo: If, at the discretion of the owners, the condo is damaged to the point of not being able to be occupied for the time of your rental, we will notify you immediately and refund all deposits and paid rents. In this unlikely circumstance, we cannot be held responsible for alternative lodging. 3. Other circumstances. At the sole discretion of the owners, refunds can be given for deposits and paid rents for ‘major’ family emergencies or situations. Please notify us immediately to request a refund for such events. Storm Evacuation, Fire Protection, Etc In case of a large storm event, please use TV and radio to stay abreast of any called mandatory or voluntary evacuations. If an evacuation is called, please move quickly away from the beach area using approved evacuation routes. In the event of a fire or fire alarm in the condo, all guests should exit the condo immediately and use the staircase to exit the building completely. The staircase should be the most protected exit route during a fire, and ELEVATORS MAY NOT WORK. Please advise children of the proper techniques for exiting a tall building and monitor them closely during any event. Plan your exit route and practice exiting the building soon after arrival. For small, contained fires, there is a fire extinguisher beside the refrigerator in the kitchen. Even in a small fire event, exit the building immediately and call 911 as soon as you and your family are out and safe. The condo is located on a high floor of this building. Please use caution on the balcony and concourse of the condo. Children should not be lifted near the balcony or concourse railing. Keep furniture away from the railing and do not allow climbing anytime. Children should be monitored and running and horseplay are strongly discouraged at all times. We have small children and the condo is very child friendly, with a pack n play in the condo, many beach and pool toys, and inside games and toys for your use during your stay. In the event of an emergency, please call 911. We welcome you to Gulf Shores, Alabama and we hope you have a great stay! If you enjoy your visit with us, please consider us for your next vacation.
