One of the better values in "The Plantation" on St. George Island; a gated community. The home, located on a quiet street, has four bedrooms, three baths, including a separate ground level unit. Able to comfortably accommodate 12 guests, the home includes one king-size bed, one queen-size, two twins, and two queen sleeper sofas. The separate ground level unit has a futon and two twin beds. There is a full bathroom on each level of the home.
The home has a large tropical yard, outdoor shower, grill, ping pong table, and outdoor fish cleaning area. The Plantation offers a community pool, tennis courts, and miles of walking or biking trails. Uncrowded sandy beaches are just a short two minute walk away.
St. George Island, surrounded by the Gulf of Mexico and Apalachicola Bay, is located approximately 60 miles east of Panama City and 65 miles south of Tallahassee. The island is located off of Highway 98 on the Gulf Coast. You will not find high rise condominiums, congestion, or crowds. Instead, you will find a peaceful environment where you can relax and enjoy your vacation. Wonderful seafood restaurants are located on the island and in nearby East Point, Apalachicola, and Carrabelle. In addition, enjoy nine miles of scenic beauty in St. George Island State park located at the eastern end of the island.
