This estate was recently featured in a local Italian television drama as the luxurious home of one of the characters. There are two separate villas each with a private pool located about 500 meters apart and separated by a small garden. A large enough distance to ensure complete privacy but close enough for one large group to enjoy their time together. Accordingly, they can be rented separately or together.

The larger villa, dating back to the 18th century, sleeps up to 12 comfortably and has been completely remodeled with two full kitchens (one upstairs and one downstairs), two living rooms with dining tables (one up one down) and six bedrooms and four baths. The kitchens both have a range, oven, full refrigerator and dishwasher. Outside there is a large terrace and BBQ pit for grilling. The pool is completely private and is situated just outside the front door of the villa. It is surrounded by lounge chairs, tables and umbrellas.

The bedrooms are either king-size or two twins. In several of the bedrooms the beds can be either a single king or two twins. Two of the bedrooms have ensuite baths and the others share hall baths.

The smaller villa sleeps up to eight and has a large living room with two large picture windows looking out over the private swimming pool and the surrounding countryside. There is a dining table that seats eight and four bedrooms and three recently updated stone and marble baths. There is also a TV room with a large television (with Satellite) and a comfy leather sofa.

The estate is located midway between Rome and Florence near the small town of Chiusi. There are groceries, wonderful restaurants, several wine bars and charming cobblestone streets to wander through. Chiusi is also an ancient Etruscan Capital and there is a wonderful Etruscan Museum and several tombs open to the public.

    • My family of eight enjoyed our stay at the villa. We had three small children, my parents, my great aunt, my husband and myself. With such a large and age diverse group, we needed lots of room. The villa was perfect. Not only large, but stunning. Driving up, weary travelers all, we were immediately transported to the beautiful and lush setting before us. The villa and pool are a wonderful way to relax and enjoy Italy. We were able to take many day trips to surrounding towns and villages and still be back for the baby's nap and a swim for the rest of us. This way we could see the beautiful countryside at our own pace and have a great house to enjoy as well. The villa had all the amenities we needed, as we made most of our meals there. Our trip was from mid June to mid July. In the month we were able to find local treasures and felt like locals. The villa took away the "touristy" feel and made us feel at home!
