We rented the house and cottage for a family reunion of 13 people in 2011. The house is well situated and allows easy access to the downtown area on FREE public transport called the Max. The more adventurous can even use it to travel to and from the airport. The owner allowed us to "take over" the house and cottage so we were able to cook for ourselves. A Safeway is also quite close. The owner is helpful, but not at all intrusive. The property is clean and well cared for. The area is quiet. We can't say enough good things about our stay. We'd recommend it to anyone.Recommended for: Girls getaway, romantic getaway, age 55+, sightseeing, tourists without a car.

We rented the entire house and the detached cottage to attend a family reunion last year June2010. We had a wonderful experience. We were 2 large families from age 2 months old - 77 years old. The house was clean and very charming. The owner was gracious and hospitable. We felt welcomed and right at home. We highly recommend to anyone.Recommended for: Families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+.

About the owner: Former University of Oregon Women's Basketball Coach, now sharing my home with visitors to Portland Oregon. I also rent the house as a Bed&Breakfast. The Vacation Rental includes use of my kitchen.

My of my vacation rentals are families getting together for holiday, weddings, and reunions. They love having the house to themselves vs. sharing it with other guests as a B&B, so they can spread out throughout the house and not worry about bothering other guests with laughter and family cooking.
