Spend your vacation days relaxing and enjoying the sounds and sweet mountain air of the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains. This stunning log cabin is nestled in deep peaceful woods. Your family or small group will find my cabin to be the perfect getaway from the stresses of daily life.
Bold rushing Newberry Creek is just steps from the front deck and is perfect for trout fishing. A covered front porch and large open deck invite you to experience nature at its finest.
This private two level cabin offers an open great room with native stone fireplace/cozy living dining area with a fully equipped modern kitchen with custom cabinetry. The first floor continues with laundry area/spacious bedroom with queen bed and bonus room with an additional queen bed and a fabulous bathroom with slate tiled walk-in shower with room for two! The hand crafted staircase leads to an open loft with a sleeper twin chair, turn left and you will find a beautiful king bedroom set with thick pillowtop mattress with a soft chair and ottoman for reading or viewing the 27 inch TV. Second level also has a spacious full bath with slate tile shower.
My cabin is ideally located within an hour's drive of ski resorts and all major attractions in the North Carolina Blue Ridge Mountains, including but not limited to, the Blue Ridge Parkway, the Biltmore Estate and Asheville just 30 minutes away. Blowing Rock, Boone, Grandfather Mountain, Banner Elk within one hour drive. Discover the nearby towns (Marion, Little Switzerland, Spruce Pine, Old Fort, Black Mountain) overflowing with local crafts, southern hospitality and rich history.

My wife and I stayed here for one week and that was not long enough,we felt like we were right home. The town of Old Fort was great. Best Place to eat in town The Rail. Back to the cabin it had every thing one could ask for and them some. (Their is GOLD in them Hills) And this is where it starts. Our Four Legged Boys Just love it. Thank You Miss Teresa. Hope to come againRecommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers, people with disabilities.

My family and I stayed at this wonderful cabin over Thanksgiving and again in Janurary. This has lots of room and has all the updated amenites. We will be back, for sure! ,hopefully over the summer! Very nice owner!Recommended for: Sightseeing, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers.

'FALL SPECIAL' Oct 1-31 - Come enjoy the fall color in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Stay 5 nights and 6th night is free. $125 cleaning fee and security deposit required. Cancellations must be 30 day notice to gain full refund. Payment in full is due at reservation for booking a weekend, payments for longer stay require a 50% deposit at reservation, balance due 30 days prior to arrival.
