This is the largest of our vacation rentals. This modern house sits on a one acre lot at 9000 feet with a fantastic view overlooking the Moreno Valley. Two and a half miles from the 67 trails of the Angel Fire Ski Resort and about 4 miles from a fabulous PGA golf course.
Only 15 hours from Phoenix, 10 from Oklahaoma City, 6 from Lubbock, 5 from Amarillo or Denver and 3 from Albuquerque.
This 3400+ square feet vacation rental by owner that sleeps 15 with its 5 bedrooms is ideal for the large or extended family. Two family areas each with 4 independent satellite TV and entertainment systems. The living room (20'x30')has leather furniture and a wall mounted 52' LCD TV with a Dish Network connection.
The Game Room has a wall mounted 46' LCD TV with built in DVD player. Dish Network is available. There are over 200 books, 40 VCR movies, some DVD movies, bumper pool and a ping pong table with supplies. Laundry room available in the house, dishes for 16 in the main kitchen and for eight additional in the smaller kitchenette. The lower level was remodeled in 2005.
Three bedrooms with king beds (two with wall mounted LCD TVs and the Dish Network), one with twin over double bunk, and a dorm with three bunk bed sets. All bed and bath linens are supplied. Pets are NOT allowed, No Smoking. Bring your food and it is ready to move in!! Furniture in three main floor bedrooms installed in the spring 2009. All new mattresses upstairs.
The new sun deck was added in 2005.
Have a group of 28-30? Combine with the our Bunker Hill across the street. Have 30 we can combine the Bunker Hill home with this Bunker House. Let us fill your reunion or large group needs.
Prime season is the ski season, but summers are wonderful. Don't miss the Fall Golden Aspens.

Our family of 8 stayed here during Thanksgiving, 2010. It was a wonderful house for our group. Personally, I most enjoyed seeing the deer everyday feeding in the yard and being out away from city noise and city lights. The house itself was very comfortable had everything we needed for a great vacation. It was exactly as described in both the written listing and with the photos. The property was clean and well-maintained. The kitchen was very well stocked with more things than we would have expected. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone, especially those with a large family or group. However, I hope to return myself, again in the future. It was such a beautiful place that I would like to see what it is like in the summertime.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children.
Owner response: We are pleased that Hawaiian Women and her group enjoyed their stay with us and that they had an enjoyable visit. We strive to give guests more than they expect. I beleive that should she return during the summer she would fall more in love with Angel Fire and Bunker's large homes.

We recently stayed at the Bunker House. Our experience was average. The house has a great layout for multiple families vacationing together. Our only concern was the housekeeping. Our towels were musty. The cob webs were plentiful and the dust build up on the ceiling fans, well let's just say they hadn't seen a dust rag in quite some time. We even experienced dirty dishes out of the drawer! The room housing a hot tub was very inviting but was off limits! Would have been nice after a day on the slopes. Also access to a vacuum cleaner would have been very handy. Our socks were black after a few trips thru the house. If you don't mind a dirty house or spending a day cleaning, this is a great house.Owner response: We have tried to correct the issues mentioned. The hot tub is available to guests at an additional price. Due to NM laws on hot tubs, they are generally not offered and when availableble they are quite expensive. Ours is not advertized due to thr high price, but is available for a fee during ski season only. There is no evidence that any of these issues were addressed with our Angel Fire property manager. If they had steps would have been immediatly taken to correct them. We apologize for these issues. They should not occur. If these guests would identify themselves to us by seperate email their next trip will be discounted.
