Outstanding House All the Way Around!

The number of 5 bedroom houses for rent (on the south side) in Rosemary is very limited. We have stayed at all of them now. I don't know why we waited so long to stay at this one. We should have come years sooner! Not only is the price better than any other house this close to the beach, but the extras are incredible! The 3rd floor loft was just what we needed for the kids (8 of them!). The Moms and Dads enjoyed the rest of the house, and boy was it spacious! I guess it's because this house is on a corner lot, but it is HUGE compared to the other 5BR's we've stayed in. There are 2 grills, and we used them for our fresh fish we caught each night. The outdoor sitting area was well designed, and perfect for our large group. Don't do what we did, and wait. Book this house if you need a 5 bedroom! You won't be sorry.

WOW! It Really IS the Closest 5BR to the Beach!!

We were so excited to see that FINALLY someone on VRBO was truthful about the location of their house! We've rented twice in Rosemary, off VRBO, only to find out WHEN WE ARRIVED that the house was actually located in "Water's Edge", next door!! Sorry, but Water's Edge is a totally separate subdivision that is IN NO WAY related to Rosemary! We've gotten the short end twice because of this, so imagine our delight when we checked in to this house, and it was actually IN Rosemary! Not only that, but it was VERY close to the beach. It had everything we needed, including WiFi, and TV's in every bedroom. We will be back for many years to come!

Four families that travel together often rented Shore to Please for Spring Break week. It was fabulous! The house and adjoining carriage house was well maintained, perfect location (can't stress that enough!), Sleeps 15 - 17 people. Owner very helpful in answering questions. We would definitely recommend this to family and friends. You can walk or bike everywhere in Rosemary and surrounding beaches. Extremely kid and family friendly, great restaurants and shops and white-sand beaches in walking distance. We loved this property!!! It was clean, photos are accurate and it was priced right for our Spring Break trip. The only slight negative was that it could use one more full bath either on the first or third floor. We had to share showers alot. Other than this, it was just perfect. We plan to go back again and would stay at this house in a heartbeat. It was FABULOUS!

We have stayed in the carriage house twice, and LOVED it. I had to come down again on business, so this time I brought the whole gang (wife, kids, in-laws, etc), and we needed the larger house. I must say it is everything we wanted....spacious, well appointed, very clean and well maintained. While I was working, the rest of the family was able to spend time on the beach. The weather left a bit to be desired, but because it is only about a minute walk to the beach, they were able to get down there quite often. Our kids truly had a blast at the "kiddie park", which is only about 30 seconds out the front door. The 3rd flor "play room" came in handy for entertaining the kids, when they could not get outside. I am going to be frequenting the Gulf Coast more often, with my business comittments. When I need a rental for a week, Shore To Please is where I will be staying. Both the carriage house and the big house are excellent places to stay.

Brilliant Layout! Close Walk to Beach!

My family loved the layou of this house. If people are watching the huge TV downstairs, the people upstairs can't even hear it. The kitchen being downstairs was great as well. As you know, some Rosemary houses have their kitchen on the 2nd floor, which can lead to all sorts of smells making their way into the bedrooms. This kitchen on the ground level is VERY well ventilated, and has no lingering smells at all. We were also pleased with how close to the beach we were. We'd stayed at other Rosemary houses that were a minute walk to the beach, and they were all at least 50% MORE than this house, in terms of cost. Glad we found it!

For years we've been looking for that perfect house to stay in on 30A. We've been to Seaside, Watercolors, and all the rest. We fell in love with Rosemary and this house! The downstairs living area is magnificent in size. The 3rd floor loft is almost as big. There were plenty of TV's for the kids (and watching football Sundays), and the kitchen was exquisite. Everything was right where you'd expect it to be. The beach is so close you can hear the waves! We will certainly be making the yearly pilgrimage to this house.

We were at Rosemary for a wedding, and had 14 people staying in the house. It held us all quite comfortably! I was amazed. The kitchen is well-outfitted with everything we needed to cook with. The men loved the outdoor seating areas... perfect for beer time. The wrap around balcony was a welcome sight. None of the other Rosemary houses we've stayed at have had one. We will recommend o all our friends!

A Welcome Relief From the RosemaryRentals Houses

We've always rented from the rental agency there in Rosemary Beach. The quality was just ok, not great, and the price was always SKY HIGH. Then, my father in law found this house on VRBO. We were a little cautious at first, since we'd always rented direct from Rosemary. Bottom line is that we got a BETTER house for only HALF the price! We couldn't believe it whn we showed up. The rooms are big, the 3rd floor loft was very open and spacious, and the boardwalk to the beach is right behind the house. We'll be coming back next year!

MUCH Better Than Watercolors

We've stayed at Watercolors every year for the past 5. This was our first time in Rosemary, and this house was just what we needed! It's on the side of Rosemary that's away from all the hustle and bustle. no construction noise, no cars, and it's on the beach side! We were so proud to find this gem of a house. Bike rentals were a quick 4 minute walk for us, to downtown. The restaurants were top notch.

This is our 8th year coming to Rosemary for the Winter. First off, let me just say that you won't find a better snow-free vacation spot than Rosemary Beach for the winter. The weather is perfect, in the 60's, the air is crisp, the beach beautiful. Perfect weather for the outdoors. We've stayed in all the 4 and 5 BR's offered on the beach side, and this was by far our fave! It has everything you need, lots of tv's, outdoor sitting area, grills, and the beds are great! Will be returning next winter.

From the moment we walked in and saw the immaculate flooring, we were hooked. The bedrooms were well-decorated and very cozy, and it helped that each one had its own TV. My mother in law loves to cook, so the fully equipped kitchen was a welcome sight. We made all the kids - 6 of them! - sleep up in the 3rd floor loft, and they were in heaven. They left the adults alone, with plenty of activities to entertain themselves up there. We will definitely come back next year.

Pleasantly Surprised with How Spacious it is

This is house WAY bigger than the pictures make it out to be! We were very pleased with how 10 of us found the main house --the 4 bedroom house-- to be more than enough room. The bedding is laid out very well. The queen bedroom on the first floor was a nice touch. We've stayed at many Rosemary houses, and not many have a queen bedroom on the first floor. My mother is elderly and she appreciated that. Thanks again, and we'll be back next year for sure.

Exactly what this family of 16 wanted

I highly recommend this house for large families. With my brothers and sisters, and their familes, we have 16 total. At first glance, we thought there was no way this house could accomodate us all, but we were wrong. It has plenty of space and the bedrooms are huge. We will be staying here again!

Unreasonable owners

My children and grandchildren rented this house for a week after Christmas, and had a great time. There were no problems while there, except for a very weak wi-fi signal in the carraige house. After I was home two weeks, management notified me that they were keeping my entire security deposit, accusing us of breaking the door lock. They sent me a video of the property manager stating that the back door lock made clicking noises when operated, and that it might fail soon. The first comment on the video is that the door would "lock and unlock." Management would not send me a copy of the invoice for the lock. If you do rent the house, be sure that no appliance, television, door knob, or anything else makes strange sounds, because it may fail soon and you will lose your security deposit. There is absolutely no appeal from their decision and they will keep your money without giving the customer the benefit of the doubt.

Owner response:Over the past 6 years, we've only needed to keep 2 security deposits, due to damage. We have ample evidence that this renter broke the door handle we charged him for (including video evidence and sworn statements from cleaning staff, repairman, and property managers). We DID send this renter the invoice (via email, so there is evidence), which they claim we did not. Therefore, this renter's assertion that we unjustly kept their security deposit is ridiculous and not based in fact. It is unfortunate that VRBO allows reviews like this, that have ZERO truth to them, and are intended only to slander the property owners, to remain up. Please look at our other reviews, for the truth about this property, and not this slanderous account. We have had other renters ask us about this, and we have shown them the video of the broken door handle. Their responses have overwhelmingly been, "Of course that handle is broken. I would have kept their deposit too!"

Perfect Vacation Place

Our family had a FANTASTIC time at this Shore To Please property in Rosemary. The home was fabulous, and we loved that there was such a short walk to the beach where we spent most of our time. The bedrooms were very comfortable. We enjoyed every second of our time at Rosemary, and could not have asked for better accomodations. In fact, we did not want to leave at the end of the week, and arranged to stay an additional day to have more time to enjoy this wonderful place. One major selling point was the pet-friendly aspect of this home. It was very important to us to find a place where our dog would be allowed. It was a nice change to have her on vacation with us. From day one at this home we began planning our trip for next year to the same place! Thanks for allowing us to stay there, and cannot wait to visit again!!

First off, THANK YOU for adding the desk in the master BR. We are repeat renters and noticed it right away. It is PERFECT for my (large) laptop and business documents. I know people aren't supposed to work on vacation, but I guess I'm the outlier.. This is definitely our favorite house in Rosemary. We've stayed at ALL of the 4 and 5 BR's on the south side (none on the north side), and I can tell you that, for the price, there is no competition. Some of the other houses may have a pool, or a bigger TV in the living room, but is it really worth spending $3,000 extra for? Not for us. This house has it all!

My family and neighbor's family (14 people total) do a vacation together each summer. This house is the first we've stayed at that says it can accomodate a party as large as ours, that actually CAN!! There's plenty of sleeping area, lots of open space, and the 3rd floor loft is excellent for the kids! The desk in the master bedroom is great for my laptop, and paperwork....yes, I have to work on vacation. The place was VERY clean when we checked in, and the property manager was superb to deal with. I highly recommend this house for large groups, like ours.

We stayed at the main house and carriage house during Christmas. Both houses were spic and span and very well set up for our stay. Every appliance needed was there. The furniture was very tasteful, and quite approprite for houses of this caliber. It is only about a 1 minute walk to the beach. Even though the weather was quite chilly, we thoroughly enjoyed our times on the beach. Whenever we had questions, the management staff was able to answer them promptly and effectively. They were even able to guide us to all of the great restaurants in the area!!! We are presently deciding which week in September or October we want to rent this year. Shore to Please will be our pick; whichever week we choose.

We searched all the Rosemary Rentals, both on vrbo AND the Rosemary Website, and this house was BY FAR the best deal. With the economy like it is, we're like everyone else, just looking to make our dollar go as far as possible! The chil'd playground was especially loved, and it's right beside the house! The loft on the 3rd floor was where the kids wuld go to "leave us be"! Highly recommend!

Our extended family of 14 thought that "Shore To Please" was the perfect combination of modern luxury, and classic charm. Every room had a TV/DVD, which was VERY important, since 8 of our 14 were kids. We LOVED the fact that the playground was next door. It allowed us to "kick out" the kids, and send them out to explore on their own. Speaking of "explowing", my goodness, there are A TON of things to do in Rosemary Beach!! Just make sure that you get a house that is actually IN Rosemary, like this one. Last year, we made the mistake of renting one in Seacrest that CLAIMED to be IN Rosemary. Man, we were NOT happy at all!!

The listing was exactly as descibed. The houe is close enough to the beach, where you can hear the waves. However, you're not gonna pay like it's that close! All of the other 5 Bedrrom houses we've staye at IN Rosemary (8 total) were all much more expensive, and yet none of them were this close to the beach! This will be the first Rosemary house that we actually repeat rent! Thanks again!

Relaxing

We went to Rosmary in the quiet lull between Spring Break and the Summer activities. It was relaxing and friendly. We enjoyed the bike rides, walks and pools. The weather was perfect for sitting on the beach all day. It was a nice place to gather with our children and grandchildren. Everyone wants to go back.

Something for Everyone

This house had something for everyone in our group. We were there with another family, 12 people total. We only rented the main house (4BR), but had plenty of room for everyone to sleep, and have FUN!! The playground is right next door, so the kids were able to entertain themselves there, and the adults knew they were always within earshot. The older kids brought their playstation, and hooked it up to the TV in the 3rd floor loft area. When they were up there, and the adults were on the 1st floor, we couldn't even hear them!! Not a peep! The kitchen had everything we needed, or even wanted. The furniture is VERY nice, and the beds are wonderful--a pure dream! We will definitely be making this house an annual trip for our two families!

The BEST we've stayed at INSIDE Rosemary

We were tricked five years ago, by a house on VRBO claiming to be in Rosemary. It was next door to Rosemary, at some crap-hole called "Water's Edge". Needless to say, my family was very disappointed that year. "Shore to Please" more than made up for that, as well as the other houses IN Rosemary that we'd stayed at, with less than stellar experiences. The house had everything our family of 10 needed. It really is as advertised, as far as the proximity to the beach. Very impressed!!

Shore To Please - Sure Did Please. My family of four was there for 2 glorious weeks in June, 2009. Entertaining 2 teenage boys was no problem with the beach being so close and very safe as well. Our dog, Muffy, loved it too. We rented the house plus carriage house and had a grand time. The location is perfect to the beach plus a short walk/bike ride to the town center of Rosemary Beach. There is lots to do and the house is beautiful and is well maintained. We will definitely be back for more R&R.

We were here a chilly week in April and found the covered, heated pool a tremendous asset. Our four young grandchildren loved the nearby playground and running barefoot and turning somersaults in the beautiful green grassy open space. This is a perfect lodging choice for grandparents to have the Carriage House and the younger folks in the much larger Main House. We would give Shore to Please a 5 STAR rating and highly recommend it.

Shore To Please was an absolute joy to stay at! We had 14 people in our party, consisting of 2 full families. The main house had plenty of room for everyone. The two oldest grandparents loved the downstair bedroom, and how they didn't have to go up and down the stairs so much. The children loved the 3rd floor loft, and all the adults loved the fact that there were plenty of ways for them to keep themselves busy up there, while we cooked. The children's playground really is right next door, as advertised. The kids couldn't get enough of it, and it was within yelling distance for when it was time to come in and eat. The coquina pool is amazing, the most beautiful pool I've ever seen. Even lugging all our beach gear there, it was only about a 1 minute walk to the beach. Even with the grandparents!! We met a couple renting a house down the street, and they were paying 2 thousand more than we were, and we were closer to the beach AND had 5 bedrooms, where their house only had 4. We are definitely returning next spring, and intend on making this a yearly tradition at Shore To Please!
