Plan your get away at this comfortable, spacious, mountain chalet. This two-bedroom chalet offers a loft with a cathedral ceiling and skylights, newly renovated bathroom, and brand new wall-to-wall carpeting in Locust Lake Village. The house will comfortably sleep eight people with one queen-sized bed, one full-sized bed, and four twin beds (join two twins to make a king-sized bed) in the loft. The chalet is nestled in a heavily wooded half-acre lot which makes this a true retreat.
The house has an open floor plan with a large open living/kitchen/dining room area that comfortably fits a nice size group yet cozy enough for small gatherings. The kitchen is fully equipped with all cooking utensils. A microwave, coffee maker, toaster, everything except a dishwasher. The sliding door opens onto a front porch which is perfect for viewing the surrounding beauty of nature while experiencing peace and quiet.
If you prefer action, the village offers five lakes and many recreation areas for your enjoyment. Locust Lake Village is only a few miles to either Camelback or Jack Frost/Big Boulder ski areas where you can enjoy snow tubing, snowboarding, skiing, skating, and snowmobiling for all your winter fun. Centrally located, it is close to all the Pocono attractions, which include the Pocono Raceway, the Crossings Outlets, flea markets, and the NEW Mount Airy Casino (only 15 short miles away). Some renters have won "BIG". Enough to pay for their stay and still took home some of their winnings!
