This spacious dog friendly Tahoe rental home located in Carnelian Bay, directly between Kings Beach and Tahoe City, sits on a large corner lot with a nicely landscaped fenced back yard with aspen trees and a hot tub. The house can accommodate 12 people and has been fully remodeled down to the studs including all bathrooms (slate and tile), kitchen, living room, etc. This is not your typical rental home. The house has free high speed wireless internet for those who have a harder time leaving work.
The bedding configuration in the home is:
King (upstairs master bedroom)
Queen (downstairs bedroom with attached bath)
2 Twins (upstairs bedroom)
2 sets of bunks (upstairs bedroom with Queen bottom bunk and Twin top bunk)
The home is close to excellent hiking and biking trails and is in a convenient location (between Kings Beach and Tahoe City).
The home is 12 miles to Northstar-at-Tahoe, 9 miles to Alpine Meadows, and 12 miles to Squaw Valley. Save $9-$11 per ticket on Northstar, Alpine Meadows, and Squaw Valley tickets.
This dog friendly Tahoe rental home is fully equipped with free high speed wireless internet, linens, bath towels equal to the maximum occupancy of the house, spa towels, pot/pans, dishes, microwave, coffee pot, TV's & DVD's, washer & dryer, and barbeque. The house will also provide a starter set of toilet paper, soap, and paper towels.

Why the Owner Chose Carnelian Bay
We purchased this home in Carnelian Bay because we really like being centrally located between Kings Beach and Tahoe City. The home had a lot of work to be done when we purchased the home. We completely remodeled down to the studs the home back in 2005. The drywall, flooring, cabinets, bathrooms, kitchen, siding, roof, backyard, and more has been completely replaced.
The Unique Benefits at this House
In the summer, we enjoy relaxing in the landscaped back yard, walking around the neighborhood with our twins, going to the beaches in Carnelian Bay, Tahoe City and Kings Beach, hiking and mountain biking from the house (see Google map) and doing nightly BBQ's.
In the winter, We, like most tenants, enjoy being equal distant to Northstar, Alpine Meadows, and Squaw Valley. You can also cross country ski from the house (the corner of Fulton Crescent and Lynwood; see Google map).
Access to the Tahoe Rim Trail, Lake Watson, and Lake Tahoe Cross Country Center.

We live in southern California and have twin girls (age 3). I was raised in north Lake Tahoe and decided to buy a home in the area in 2005 so my girls could enjoy the same experiences that I had growing up.
