This one bedroom, one bath Ski Trail condo lets you literally SKI IN AND SKI OUT, JUST A FEW STEPS FROM YOUR FRONT DOOR. Park the car, forget about the shuttle, and stop carrying your equipment hundreds of yards. We have two boot dryers/heaters for your use. (And the secure locker just outside the front door lets you leave your gear outside the unit.)
The living room features a large leather sectional sofa, real wood-burning fireplace with gas starter, and a 40-inch wall-mounted LCD HDTV flat panel TV with HD programming and a DVD/DVR (Like Tivo). We also provide high speed internet access via a DSL telephone line and Wi-Fi.
The kitchen includes a large refrigerator with ice maker, gas stove and oven, dishwasher, microwave and coffee maker. You can eat at the pass-through bar between the kitchen and living room, or use the table, which can accommodate four.
In addition to the queen-size bed in the bedroom, the living room sofa easily converts to a comfortable queen-size sleeper. Two foam sleeping pads are also available for floor use, and are great for kids. We have added a queen size air bed. Very comfortable.
Your stay will also give you access to (and gated, private parking at) the recreation center ($2.00 per person per day), which has a complete workout gym, an outdoor heated lap pool open year-round, and three large hot tub spas available only to Ski Trail owners and guests.

Very restful end unit at edge of forest: no, through traffic, no noise!! Out the door and a few steps away from a winter ski mountain or an alpine wanderer's paradise. Best pricing of any accommodation at Northstar or anywhere in the Tahoe area. Plus, all the amenities at Northstar make this an absolute treasure. Also, scheduling with owner was pleasant and easy. Descriptions and photos were accurate. Unit was clean and well maintained. Strongly recommend.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, adventure seekers, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children.

This is a great property for a family get away to the mountains. The condo sits right on the trail so you really can ski in and out...and just look out at the snow from the livingroom.. It is an easy walk, shuttle or car ride down to the Northstar village. The access to the Northstar Association rec center with pools, hot tub an arcade gives something extra for everyone (plus great parking in village). The condo has lots of hooks for all the jackets and snow gear after a day on the slopes plus room for the towels and swim suits from the hot tub (often a real pain when renting a place). The sleds in the closet were a great bonus for our kids too! The boot warmers are a nice touch for skiers and sledders with soggy boots or just a toasty start to the morning. We would definitely recommend this place.

We had a fantastic eight days in this cosy comfortable condo. Excellent position right on the ski run. On the slopes at 9 and able to pop back for coffee or lunch, Amazing snow every day we were there didnt want to leave. Washer and Dryer an added bonus all the washing done before we returned home to the UK. We will return.

This property proved to be an excellent home for us during our 3-day stay in early October 2010. The location is ideal... set at the top of a hill literally on the trail. The place itself is well-appointed, clean, and comfortable. We didn't have a need for the boot warmers; however, Winter guests will love that feature. The wall-mounted flat screen TV is huge. Parking is convenient. The cleaning service does an excellent job keeping the place very clean and well stocked. We really enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended.

A very comfortable condo with all the comforts of home and the location is excellent. We stayed for three nights and after parking our car the first night never had to get in it again. Purchased our lift tickets in advance and just skied right down to the lift each morning after breakfast. At lunch we didn't have to wait in any lines or fight the masses for a table... we just skied right back down to the condo, put our boots on the warmer and ate a relaxing meal... we've been spoiled.
