Our master bedroom tells the story of Terry’s Texas Rangers. Another tells of possibly Texas’ most famous story, The Alamo. Learn about the struggle for Texas’ freedom in the 'Texas Independence Room'. And finally, one of the most interesting stories to come out of Texas’ past the 'Come and take it Cannon Room'.

- The Lone Star Hiking Trail, located in Sam Houston National Forest, Features 127 miles of overland hiking & biking trails. Fishing guide services are readily available. There are more than a dozen pubic golf courses to choose from in the immediate area. Shopping is not far away at the Conroe outlet mall as well as the Woodlands shopping complex. Old Montgomery offers a glimpse of Texas’s early history (Third oldest town in Texas and birthplace of the Texas flag) and offers unique antique shopping at it’s best. Many activities can be accessed via boat from the house. The activities in this area are too numerous to list here, not to mention cosmopolitan Houston and it’s many offerings including NASA, the theater & professional sports.
