Our group of 7 adults and 5 small children enjoyed our winter weekend at the Lake Hartwell House. We found the home to be very comfortable, clean, and well-equipped; it was just as described in the listing details. Blair was easy to work with and we would definitely consider staying at this property again in the future.

Recommended for:Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Our entire family (10 of us) enjoyed our trip to the Dean's wonderful home. The house is beautiful, well-furnished and so very comfortable. We hope very much to return one day soon, it was one of the best rental experiences we have ever had. Many, many thanks for a great time!! The Clapp, Young and Childers families!!

This place has got everything. Terrific location, huge kitchen with all the ammenities--yes even most of the items you forgot! There are five bedrooms laid out around great rooms on two floors. I especially loved the hot tub. My friends loved the games--ping pong, pool, tons of board games. One caveat, if the sink is full of water and you turn on the garbage disposal it "burps" into the other sink. The balcony that overlooks forest and lake is the perfect place for bbq or cocktails. This is the third time I've stayed there and the new paved trail to the lake is a special plus. Also great is the fact that the lake is now completely full. If you can't have fun here, you can't have fun!

We are a family of ten - us, two married sons each with wives and two children. What a great time we had in northern Georgia! The lake house is well maiantained and very comfortable (we slept very well on the king bed on the main level). The weekend was rainy and overcast so we enjoyed evenings with a fire! The kids even roasted marshmallows for somemores! The kitchen was excellent with plenty of counter space and more than enough cabinet space! The dining table sat ten easily. During the weekend we visited the gorge at Tallaulah State Park and had a great time and enjoyed the scenic views. Blair was friendly, helpful, and very attentive. Thanks for a great time!

The families had a wonderful time. The house was perfect for our family gathering. We had (6) children and one set of grand parents. The cove was great for the kids to swim around in and it was convenient to the marina around the corner. And the kitchen addition to the house was a great move. We'll be back. Steve

We own a home on Lake Hartwell and needed a second one for a family reunion. We were delighted that we were able to find this nice lake home for some of our family. It was very nice, roomy, clean and comfortable and made for a great family reunion.

What a beautiful, wonderful experience, staying at Blair's house on the lake. Waking up every day and having tea out on the balcony, looking out on the water, while the woodpeckers, blue jays, cardinals and finches sang their songs to me. Canoeing out on the lake, now that the water is back! And cooking gourmet meals in the large and very well equipped kitchen. Then, ending the day with a soak in the hot tub. Perfect! I was there with my entire artistic team, but the house was large enough that we each had our own room, and never once felt crowded. I can't wait to return!

What a great time we had at Blair's house on Lake Hartwell! The home is spacious, clean, well maintained, and has all we needed to make our stay a pleasant one. The kitchen is awesome! We were able to comfortably entertain family we had gone to visit, as well as use the home as our relaxation station. The beds were comfortable, which was a great BIG plus! Blair is very pleasant and easy to work with. I think his description of the property is accurate and the price and terms more reasonable than any I had investigated in the area. We tried out one of his restaurant suggestions and found Siblings to be a very good place to eat, with charm to boot! Thanks, Blair, for helping to make our stay a positively memorable one!

The house is so beautifully situated, looking through stately trees to the lake. Everything is provided from a canoe, hottub, pool table, games, books. Bring yourself and relax. And the owner is very nice.

What can we say?!! The trip was fantastic! The house was absolutely wonderful. Blair is a great host. He called to be sure that our group arrived safely and found everything suitable. He even had someone stop in to be sure the dishwasher was fixed for us. He is very easy to deal with and very knowledgeable about the area. This house is georgous! There was plenty of room for all of us and a good starter supply of the products we needed. You just walk right in and you're home away from home. We cannot say enough good things about this visit. The neighborhood is great and the neighboors waved from a distance. :) Great stay!

This was our second stay at Blair's beautiful lake house and the new kitchen was a wonderful surprise. We spent a lot of time there cooking, listening to music and just hanging out while preparing meals. We enjoyed swimming from the dock every morning and evening and skiing was perfect and close by the house. Blair is wonderful to work with, very accomodating and prompt with problems and return of deposit. We are 10 people and 2 dogs and never felt crowded. We had a fantastic vacation again and are already planning for next year! Thanks Blair

We had a great time! This newly renavated cabin offered our family of 6 a perfect long getaway. Our kids really enjoyed the onsite ameneties as well as the ones close by. We arrived a little early and was able to check in with out any problems. The cabin was VERY CLEAN and spacious. We will be back next year!

Wow...I couldn't believe the new kitchen remodeling...so easy and fun for a group to cook in. The house is spacious enough for a crowd but arranged so that everyone can have privacy as well. There were nine of us (three generations)and we didn't feel the least bit crowded. What a great place for a family get-together! Swimming, boating, etc. all great fun. Blair is such a neat guy--he does whatever is needed to make a stay so pleasant. We've been here before and I know we'll come again soon.

Our stay at the lakehouse was very relaxing and fun. We swam and fished from the dock and just plain "vegged" out on the swing and enjoyed the tranquility of the place. The two downstairs bedrooms were great for the kids to have their own space. It was a great time. Thanks, we'll be back.

We had a wonderful time at this lake house! The den was perfect for a large group, and the new kitchen was fantastic! The rooms were comfortable, and we had fun in the downstairs game area playing ping pong and pool. We would definitely rent this house again!

Mr. Dean's property was just perfect for our family reunion. I had one bunch upstairs and another downstairs. There was plenty of room for all, lots of fun things to do, and the new kitchen is to die for. Mr. Dean is easy to get hold of at any time. the place was beautiful, serene, and we will be staying there next time we have a reunion.

Had a really great time staying at Blair's home at Lake Hartwell. He has added a wonderful addition which made preparing meals a breeze. Blair is very accomodating & the home was clean. We had everything we needed to be able to settle right in & begin having fun. I was able to rest & enjoy the lake - fishing & other activities. Thanks for a great time Blair. We'll visit again soon

We had an amazing time. We brought jet ski's and rented a pontoon boat. The kids enjoyed it all, especially the fishing and jumping off the deck into the lake. Thank you so much for your hospitality, your home is beautiful.

We found Blair very accommodating as well as his home. Blair allowed us to arrive early on Friday. When we arrived we realized the AC wasn't working. We called Blair and he had someone at the house on a Friday afternoon at 4:30 to get the AC going. We had 9 Adults and 5 children (the oldest 7 yrs and the youngest 1 yr) you can imagine what kind of weekend we would have had with no AC? This was also one of those 100 degree Georgia days. We swam in the lake and fished all day Saturday. Had a great time. The home accommodated everyone - we put the families with the kids in the basement - which worked out great - they brought air mattresses and we put them on the floor. We were able to reconnect with family we hadn't seen in 4 years. My Mom and Dad saw 2 of their great grand children they had never seen and 2 others that they hadn't seen in 4 years. We had a great time and hopefully will be able to use Blair Deans home again in the future. Thank You Again

What a great house! The three large bedrooms upstairs surround the greatroom and dining area, then two more nice bedrooms downstair next to the family area. Great for a family or a group of friends. You can sit on the deck and see the kids on the dock below having a great time. The dock is great and the lake is FANTASTIC! The house is close to a couple of great restaraunts on the lake. If you need a store it's an easy drive to Wal-Mart or for groceries. The house is well stocked, clean, comfortable, and quiet. The Hot tub was great! We would be happy to rent this again and highly recommend this house. Blair was great to work with - Thanks so much!

We have rented houses several times on Lake Hartwell. None have been as nice as this one. Everything was just as Blair said it was in the add. We will rent from him again. He got my deposit back to me very quickly.
