We have just returned home from staying at this wonderful property and miss it already! The photos and description are quite accurate -- the home is beautiful, clean and wonderfully stocked! There are so many great features -- tons of books and puzzles, bikes, water toys, grill, movies -- that we couldn't use them all! The owners have lovely taste, so the home is decorated in lovely colours and nice quality linens (very nice not to have to bring one's own towels and sheets!). This is a great place for families -- my three year old and one year old twins were thoroughly entertained by the toy kitchen and all the lovely toys. The kitchen has everything one could hope for -- we had friends over to dinner and were able to prepare a full and lovely meal. The owners, Cynthia and Tim, were extremely helpful and responsive, and in our case went way above and beyond being great landlords -- we had booked for the week that Hurricane Irene swept through the area, and not only did they send us regular reports on the situation at Bethany beach, they were graciously flexible with our arrival dates. They also sent a detailed map that was essential in helping us reach our destination. The people at Sea Colony were helpful and the amenities were very good --- lots of kiddie pools for the little ones and larger pools for the adults, great access to the beach (driving distance or a 30-second walk to the lovely tram that takes you right to the beach) good fitness center. I would absolutely recommend this property and plan to stay there again!

Fantastic Bethany vacation

We had a wonderful stay in this home! It was roomy and comfortable and has everything you'll need for a great beach vacation. The VRBO listing adequately described the various amenities in the home- fully equipped kitchen, lots of beach chairs and beach toys, and huge movie and book collections. We enjoyed many meals at home and we used the sun room as a relaxing area to work on the puzzles provided in the house. Our 2 year old was kept occupied by the toy kitchen set and there was plenty of room for him to play. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable and it was wonderful that all linens were provided (plus extras in the hall closet). The neighborhood was quiet and it was only a brief walk to the pool. We also loved the catch and release ponds throughout the community- they were well stocked. Cynthia and Tim were very responsive to any questions we had before and during our stay. We had a fantastic stay at this property and would recommend this home to families. We look forward to future stays at this rental property.

Thank you so much for the use of your house at Sea Colony! We had a wonderful time and our weather was just great! We found everything we needed and enjoyed ourselves very much. Sea Colony is a great resort and has everything you could imagine. Our kids enjoyed the pools very much and had a blast playing dodge ball. Thank you for opening your home to us and we'd certainly consider returning next year.

Our family vacation this year was amazing ~ with 6 adults and 2 children under the age of 4, your condo had more to offer us than we even knew we'd need! We were so excited we could experience what Sea Colony, Bethany Beach and your condo had to offer ~ we were not disappointed and already are making plans to reserve the same weekend in 2012. All that others have stated below are echoed in our time at your place and Bethany Beach. Thanks for maintaining such a beautiful residence and welcoming us to share in it!

We just returned from a stay at this property. The property was fantastic! Very clean, neat and comfortable. The property description was very accurate and all of the things that you would need are included (beach toys, kids toys, games, movies, kitchen gadgets etc.) I highly recommend this property and we will definitly be returning again in the future for another great beach vacation.

Hi Tim and Cynthia, I just had to write and tell you how much we loved your place. We have been coming to Sea Colony since it was built and have always stayed oceanfront in the condos, (me as a child and we carried the tradition on when I got married and had kids. This spring we decided to try the west side and absolutely loved it. We enjoyed your home and all you had to offer. The bikes and fishing were a hit. My hubby and I were going to come alone but our sons had the time from school off and we chose to take them and my mom too. What a great choice. We walked and walked like there was no tomorrow. We were able to move around freely and play games in your place with no problem. It was such a convenience to have the little extras ready like soap and paper towels when we arrived. The sheets and towels were a huge hit with me, when we stay in most places we have to haul them in the van with everything else takes up so much space then to have to do laundry when I get home is a drawback. Such a comfortable enjoyable place and a quiet area. I could go on and on. I am confident we will be contacting you in the future to stay again, either in the fall or next spring. We just spent 10 days at Sea Colony and loved every minute of our vacation. In addition to our time at the beach, we enjoyed the heated 25 yard outdoor pool located just three walking minutes from the house, the gym, the big playground close to the house, and the indoor pool at Edgewater on colder days. The layout of Sea Colony West is beautiful and you get into vacation mood as soon as you enter the resort. The house itself was excellent - it is nicely decorated, clean and had everything we needed. We loved the large kitchen where we started our days with waffles and pancakes, and prepared most of our meals. The front patio was perfect for lunches and dinners, and at the end of a long day filled with beach and pool activities, our son enjoyed a movie from the large collection of children's DVDs. The owners were very helpful and accommodating, and we would rent this vacation home again.

This townhouse is THE BEST rental property we have experienced. All the descriptions at the VRBO website are accurate - no exaggerations as we have sometimes experienced in the past. The kitchen has everything we have at home...and then some. The DVD/video library is fantastic, with videos to please children and adults. The beds are comfortable, and the washer and dryer are just steps away from the bedrooms. Since it was cold when we were there, we didn't get to use the lovely porch, but I can imagine that a visit during warmer months would be incredible. Tim and Cynthia are most accomodating, and available by phone if you have any questions. Our thanks to them for a wonderful family vacation!

This townhome was wonderful! Perfect place if you have small children, don't worry about packing toys, games, etc. Rooms were spacious and very clean. We felt completely at home and would definitely rent again.

We had a wonderful time and the house was just perfect. It is spacious, was very clean, and had everything we needed for a relaxing family vacation. We specifically loved the big, fully equipped kitchen. Since we visited in September, Sea Colony was very quiet, but we very much enjoyed the beach without the crowds. What an excellent vacation! I would stay here again in a heartbeat. All I had to do was pack my clothes. Everything else is in the house. The Sea Colony is the perfect place to go if you have kids. There is so much for them to do. Thank you for providing a wonderful vacation home. I hope to return next summer.

We have rented at Sea Colony for many years. This was one of the lovliest units we have had the privilege of using. The owners were excellent, accommodating and very kind. we have only good feelings about the unit, Sea Colony and our stay this past summer.

It was our first time in Bethany Beach. We had such a great time. The townhouse made our stay even better. The place is very, very clean. Everything that you need is in the house. Bikes are in perfect condition. My husband and I enjoyed our rides every night. Location of the house is incredible. You have a lake with a couple of duck families in the front and the back of the house has a huge backyard without any other houses looking in your windows. Plus there is private parking, garage, and it's walking distance to the pool. We loved it. Can't wait to go there again. We rent a lot of places during the year, but we have never had anyone so helpful to the renters. Thank you so much.

We had a wonderful and relaxing long weekend. We loved sipping wine in front of the gas fireplace in the evening while watching videos(great selection of titles!) The mattresses were top quality - a rarity in a vacation rental. The indoor club pool was great - especially since the ocean was a bit cold in April. Location is convenient to beach, shopping. We were glad we visited in April - no crowds. We'll definitely be back!
