Owner Description
Year Purchased: 2005
My mom always had a dream about having a cabin in Island Park since she was young. When she was young her family would vacation in Island Park, ID her father would say to her and her siblings, "that someday they should build cabins up in Island Park". So her and her two sisters fulfilled that dream. They spent countless hours working on and helped each other finish and completed their cabins. As a family, we to worked many long hours to complete our family cabin. This cabin was something my mother wanted so that her family and grandchildren could have someplace to go and vacation. Since 2005 upon completion of our cabin and we have spent winter's snowmobiling, and summer's fishing. This cabin has been a place for creating many family memories. My mother was able to enjoy her cabin with her family for a few years, unfortunately she became diagnosed with breast cancer and battled it for a year. She passed away in Aug 2008. We love spending time up there and will continue to create many memories in a place that our mother loved... (mom is on the far left and the other women are her sisters)
