Please note - this is a correction to review 4942945 submitted 2/3/2012 with the wrong date of arrival. What a great condo! The pictures do not do it justice. The unit had everything we needed to cook, to play and to relax. We loved being on the ground floor - and everything else about our stay. We can't wait to come back. The owners were wonderful to work with and I really appreciated their patience working with me. The entire complex was immaculate and all the employees were so kind and helpful. The grandsons loved exploring the garden areas and enjoyed the swimming pool. The restaurant and the bar is so convenient and everyone there made us feel right at home. What a wonderful vacation!!!!

This vacation was wonderful! Maui Kaanapali Villas was a beautiful place. The condo was nicely decorated and up to date on everything. The two master suites made it nice for two couples to stay together, but to also have their own private area. The pool was nice, never overcrowded. The beach was clean and just a few steps from the pool. The grounds of the Villas was kept clean and gorgeous everyday. This is definetly a place I would recommend to anyone.

Recommended for:Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We love MAui and have stayed in probably every place from Kapalua to Kaanapalin. This has been the best ecperience ever. The condo is elegant. It is close to everything going on in Kaanapali and is quiet. A great place to decompress.

Recommended for:Age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway.

Christmas Vacation

We just returned from a wonderful holiday vacation at the Kaanapali Villas. This condo was exactly as it was described on the site. The property is well maintained and condo has everything you need. The condo is a perfect size for a family of 6. We enjoyed cooking on the grills provided on the property. We had several light meals and drinks at Castaways. Be sure to ask for Hugo when you are there. He was very helpful and offered top of the line service. The only complaint we had was with the front desk. Check out time was 11 a.m. and our flight didn't leave until 4:00 p.m. We asked if we could borrow towels to use until around 3:00. This was not even an option and the gentleman was quite rude about it! It would have also been nice if the property had a an area to get a quick shower before you leave. Most flights don't leave the island until the afternoon. We made the best of our last day and really enjoyed our time at this Villa.

Our family visited Maui in January 2008. This condo was perfect. We loved the set up of the open family room/kitchen. (My brother and his family rented the condo next door and it did not have the same open feeling). The Villas property was wonderful as well. The beach is awesome, they just finished remodeling the pool and were working on the grounds, but was not noisy or it didn't seem to bug us. The location of the condo in the villas was great, we could unload our things right at the door. Having boogie boards, snorkeling gear and beach chairs was a HUGE plus for our kids, 5 and 8 years old (my brother's condo was not stocked with these). Also the free Kaanapali trolley was great for my mom who went shopping many times while we were playing on the beach! We definitely will be back again in the future! Thanks for opening your condo up to our family...it helped to make this one of our best Maui vacations so far!

Our check in experience was great. Thankyou. This condo met my families needs perfectly. (My husband, 2 children, 5y.and 8yr) and my mother. Your condo is set up wonderfully came with everything we needed. Boogie Boards and other equipment was a real plus. (My brother and his family were next door and had none of these amenities. When my husband, Mom and I were looking for a place to stay on Maui we knew we wanted to stay at the Maui Kaanapali Villas. The resort is located on a gorgeous beach with beautiful grounds. The condo looked very nice online but nothing compared to the way it looked in person. The floor plan is very spacious which made our stay very comfortable. We enjoyed having use of the beach chairs and snorkeling gear in the condo. If you stay here I’m sure you will enjoy your stay as much as we did.

Great condo! Very roomy and exactly as described. The beach and pools are far enough away to ensure quiet and close enough to reach in less than 1 minute. Star Market or Safeway with 5 minutes driving for food. 10 minutes to Lahina and Whaler's Village (upscale shopping) is 5 minutes away. The owner was very easy to deal with. Thanks for the great vacation.
