Our comfortable, top floor, remodeled, two bedroom, one and a quarter baths, ocean view unit is just a few blissful steps from beautiful Sugar Beach. Enjoy the tropical blue green ocean and soak up the sun, as you watch for majestic Humpback Whales (seasonal) and sassy spinner dolphins from your private lanai (balcony). The spacious living room, full dining area, and remodeled full kitchen also share in the spectacular views that come with this condo.
Kihei Holiday is a quaint, low-rise condominium style ocean view resort property. We have beautiful tropically maintained grounds, a fantastic swimming pool with Jacuzzi, gas barbecues (shared), and off-street assigned parking is included.
We are conveniently located directly across the street from the famous Sugar Beach! Known in Hawaiian as Mai Poina Oe La'u. Sugar Beach is the longest walking beach on Maui. Besides strolling along beachcombing and looking for shells, you will be taking in the most beautiful sunsets you will ever see. This area is also a favorite destination for kite surfers, boogie boarders and snorkeling with tropical fish like the humuhumunukunukuapua'a state fish and the endangered green sea turtles.
We are also centrally located. A short, 20 minute drive (approximately 10 miles) from Kahului Airport (OGG). Since there is so much to see and do all over Maui, we suggest getting a rental car. All major car companies are available at the airport. If you do not rent a car, there is very reliable door to door transportation services such as Maui Shuttle or Speedi Shuttle. These are great options since Maui has expanded their public bus transportation service. You can now get to and from all the major areas by bus. The Kihei area is almost completely covered to be able get anywhere you need quickly--fun shopping, fantastic restaurants, refreshing bars, most other attractions and even more beautiful beaches.
Golf courses, both public and private are close by. Shopping centers, convenience stores and full super markets are all less than five minutes away. Costco, Wal-Mart and K-Mart are conveniently located by the airport.
Looking out of the back window of our condominium, you will see the top of the majestic Mount Haleakala (Hawaiian for House of the Sun). It is an amazing dormant volcano towering over 10,000 feet high. One activity we highly recommend for both young and old is watching the amazing sunrise from the top of Mt. Haleakala, and then riding a bicycle all the way down to the beach. Tour companies will pick you up at your door, drive you to the top just in time to enjoy the sunrise, let you bike down the mountain and bring you back home.
A few more fun activities we recommend are: Maui Ocean Center Aquarium (optional scuba with the sharks), Pacific Whale Center whale watch or snorkel boat to Molokini, a classic cocktail or dinner cruise, learn to surf at the cove, Ulalena, a spectacular stage production based on the historical legends of Hawaii, Warren and Annabelle’s comedy and magic show, Kupanaha Maui Magic Show, Maui Tropical Plantation, Iao Valley, zip line tour, horseback riding, hiking, Atlantis or the Reef Dancer yellow submarine, helicopter tour to remote untouched areas, little beach (clothing optional), 'the road to Hana' or simply relax and spend a day at the world's finest spa close by, the Grand Wailea Spa. Then finish the evening with a traditional Hawaiian luau.
Our Kihei Holiday unit is a spacious affordable two bedroom, one and one-fourth bath, condominium for your vacation, located in Kihei Maui Hawaii. We feature a remodeled kitchen with granite countertops, full-size refrigerator, conventional oven, microwave, blender, toaster, coffee maker. Cookware and dishes. The bedding is one queen size bed, one queen futon and a queen convertible sofa sleeper. Sleeps six comfortably. The floors are carpeted and tiled. There is air conditioning, ceiling fans, cable TV, two bath sink areas, bath tub and shower and a clothes washer and dryer in your condo.
Included Free: warm tropical trade wind breezes, vivd rainbows and amazing Maui sunsets!

My family and I had a wonderful time staying here. We had twin boys who were not even one yet and it was great for them. The condo was clean and very tidy, she also had everything you would need for a comfortable stay! Close to all grocery stores and restaurants also a excellent view and the beach is just across the street. Friendly area and very safe. Looking forward to our return :)Recommended for: Adventure seekers, sightseeing, tourists without a car, families with young children, age 55+.
