Magnificent 30 Acre Private Estate, 6000 square foot of luxury home nestled up in the woods on the side of a mountain. Complete with Private Pool, Hottub, Horses and Large Game room. Hidden getaway! You can't see the home from the road. Extremely Private and all to yourself! No neighbors, No traffic, No tourists, No train whistles, No noise but the beautiful sounds of nature. If your looking for a relaxing vacation then this is the home. Still close enough to visit the parks during the day but then come home to peace and quiet!
Home has three levels. 6000 square foot! The main level is the great room. Open and spacious floor plan with 30 ft cathedral ceilings with skylights, Two floor-to-ceiling stone wood burning fireplaces,wrap around french doors with wide open views of the woods. Real hard wood floors, 6 bedrooms total and 4.5 bathrooms total. Sleeps 20 people. 4 rooms are master suites each with its own private bathroom and 2 smaller bedrooms. 4 kingsize beds, 3 queens , 3 pullout sofas and 1 foam mattress in gameroom downstairs. Sleeps 20. In great room 52' large screen TV, 50' plasma TV in gameroom, 26' tv in Kitchen and 5 additional TV's.
Balcony has beautiful views of the woods(No mountain views) Located faraway from the hussle and bussel. Enjoy nature at its finest!
In the morning enjoy coffee at the breakfast table and see the wild turkey and deer roam outside your window. Take a walk down to the pasture and pet and feed the 3 horses or say hello to the cows and their calves next door. At night you can hear the coyotes howl and we have a large friendly owl that loves to sit on the fence. (Hootie)
Downstairs is a large Gameroom with a billard table,air hockey, foosball,ping-pong,X-Box 360, Wii,PS2,tons of toddler and kids toys,board games,cards,checkers.This room is great for the kids to hang out,play in,watch movies and sleep and let the adults get some down time upstairs. I wanted you to know how much we enjoyed our stay at this property. It was family friendly and the kids loved it! We visited the Zoo, the American Museum of Science and Energy (go on the bus tour) Dixie Stampeed, several wineries, and an exotic petting zoo. We also went horse back riding, hiking, and had fun with the horses on the property. We had a fabulous time. The property was an excellent find for us. The property was out of the way, but still close enough to food/dining/entertainment that we were able to really enjoy our vacation. In the morning, I would get my coffee and go to visit the horses. The squirrels would be eating their breakfast in the trees by the driveway and provided a fun start for the morning. During the day, we would swim, hike, or play games in the game room. I feel that my 10 year-old son thinks that he is going to be a pool shark when he grows up! We also went shopping in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg and saw several of the tourist attractions that Knoxville as well as Gatlinburg have to offer. We usually spent the evenings enjoying food from the grill, followed by sitting on the deck reading books, checking email, or in the hot tub. Overall there was enough to do (including a trip to Clingman's Dome) to keep us busy. However, we were also able to unwind and truly enjoy the beautiful home and it's surroundings. It was a perfect getaway, without being too far away from activities. Anyone that needs some peace and quiet, but still wants to have something to do, should try this place. Catherine (the owner) was easy to get a hold of, and provided accurate information. Take the virtual tour, but enjoy a real one!!
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.
