The wall of 9 foot windows in the living room is framed by a sweeping view of lush trees, lava rock, golf course greens and blue ocean.
When you are not taking advantage of all of the activities available on Kauai's North Shore, you can relax in the living room or adjoining lanai by watching the birds, clouds or golfers go by. The covered lanai is within 10 feet of the 8th hole of the immaculately maintained Makai Golf Course. Robert Trent Jones, Jr. designed this 27 hole course to take full advantage of the mountain, waterfall, and ocean views.
You can easily walk to both the famous Bali Hai restaurant and the five-star Princeville Hotel. Both have breathtaking sunset views overlooking Hanalei Bay. For a more causal setting, drive 10 minutes into the town of Hanalei where you can shop, dine and enjoy the expansive beach.
A favorite evening activity is to start dinner in the fully equipped kitchen and then walk the 900 ft path from the condo to the sea cliff (make sure the golfers are gone!) where we watch the sunset over Hanalei Bay in the quite company of the ocean breeze and the evening birds.

Why the Owner Chose Emmalani Court
My husband and I were married at Kee Beach on the North Shore and visited the island several times after. We used to manage vacation rentals in Lake Tahoe and many of the owners also owned property in Kauai and asked if we would be interested in starting a business here - after a couple of years we finally made the move and have been blissfully happy every since. The island has so much natural beauty and outdoor activities yet is still doesn't have that 'big resort' feel. It is a great safe place for children and also make for a perfect honeymoon or anniversary destination.
The Unique Benefits at this Condominium
There are so many outdoor activities to enjoy here: going to the beach, surfing, stand up paddling, horseback riding, hiking, sightseeing, taking a boat charter along the Napali Coast, cayaking, camping, biking, etc..
I enjoy getting a spa treatment at the Anara Day Spa at the Hyatt - if you enjoy the spa the facial is perfect.
My husband and I met at culinary school and consider ourselves 'foodies'. There are some wonderful farmers markets here and fish markets with the fresh local catches of the day. Ahi is of course and island favorite and can be found at many of the restaurants throughout the island.
Whale watching is from December - April and is quite a site to see.
Some of the best golf courses in the US are located in Kauai.
We work with some activity providers that provide personalized hikes and activities that are 'off the beaten path' and truly show you what Kauai has to offer.
