The Sandpiper Condominiums are located right on "The Strand" in the heart of the south end of the island. This is a gated community built in 2000 and has only 24 units. The buildings are made of steel and concrete which ensures a safe and quiet stay. From the covered parking area you are only steps away from the beach and within walking distance of shopping and casual or fine dining out. Once you arrive, there are few reasons to start your car again until departure time.
This luxurious, 1350 square foot, three bedroom, two bath condominium was completely refurnished in March of 2006. From both the balcony and the master bedroom you can enjoy a partial view of the beach. The spacious living room has a complete entertainment system including a 36 inch TV with 75 plus cable channels, DVD, stereo with CD, and high speed internet. There are also TVs in all three bedrooms. The dining room table comfortably seats six, plus the adjacent kitchen eating area seats four more. Teak deck furniture on the balcony sits over a comfortable woven outdoor rug.
The large and functional kitchen is fully equipped and ready for some serious cooking or entertaining! The Corian counter top has been extended to create additional seating. There are built-in wine bottle racks for serious wine connoisseurs.
This beautifully furnished Condominium comfortably sleeps eight persons. The master bedroom has a queen-size bed with a heavenly goose down comforter and a fantastic master bathroom including a large Jacuzzi tub and twin sinks. Both of the guest rooms have twin beds with beautiful Tommy Hilfiger comforters. The beds in either room can easily be rolled together to make a king-size bed for two. Guest rooms share a large bathroom in the main hallway. The living room has a very comfortable seven foot wide couch with queen-size pull-out bed.
