My husband and a couple of our friends stayed in this lovely property on a weekend ski trip to Paoli Peaks. We loved being able to all stay together in a house instead of different hotel rooms. This house was very charming, as the title describes. It was a perfect size for us, and everything was very clean and ready for us when we arrived. Location was excellent for going to French Lick Resort / Casino or walking to downtown French Lick. I would definitely recommend this house to anyone coming to French Lick, and wish we could have stayed longer.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.

We rented this charming little cottage as a place to stay while in town for our daughters wedding. Location was perfect (practically right across the street from the reception hall) and was roomy enough for us to prepare for the wedding and reception. The only down side was no internet access available at the property. Would definitely stay here again and will recommend to family and friends.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Delightful cottage that was just perfect for two couples meeting for a holiday season get together. Well furnished and equipped for meal preparation and dining. Cozy, but spacious enough for quiet times away from one another if necessary. Would recommend for up to four adults; don’t think I would recommend for children or for the fifth or sixth person mentioned in the description of the property. Although the cottage is in a somewhat shabby neighborhood area, it is well maintained and beautiful inside. We went with one other couple and it was the perfect size for the 4 of us. One bedroom is upstairs and the master bedroom is downstairs. Everything was perfectly clean and well put together. Seeing as to how the cottage is within walking distance of the casino, it made it quite convenient for us to go back and forth throughout our stay. I'm looking forward to staying here again in the warmer seasons rather than in February!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, tourists without a car, girls getaway.
Owner response: The cottage is a historic structure located in the old downtown part of French Lick very close to the resort. The city hall as well as the fire station and kindergarten are all either on the same block as the cottage or on the block adjacent. We very much appreciate the positive review and we wanted to clarify so that other people can gain an appreciation of the historic nature of the area.

We loved our stay in this cottage! Best location in French Lick. It was very clean & had alot of character. It was ideal for us two couples (and I would imagine a family of 4-6). We walked and ate at Larry Bird's restaurant just a couple blocks away & really enjoyed it! We will be back & will definitely stay here.Recommended for: Age 55+, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children, tourists without a car, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Hi, I stayed at "The Quarters" over the holidays. I loved the fact that it's just a 3-minute walk to the casino floor and all of the other things the resort has to offer.
