A walk down the driveway is all it takes to visit the wildlife, spectacular views, and serenity of this preserved mountain woodland who’s rocky bluffs overlook the Estes Park region and the Rocky Mountain National Park.
The forest offers its share of adventure as well, and is open to hiking, mountain biking, dirt biking, four wheeling, camping, hunting, and your imagination.
Although a humble neighbor to the beauty of the forest, this log home boasts more than its fair share of Rocky Mountain grandeur. The 12 inch Douglas fur logs surround the most homey, modern, and stylish atmosphere in Estes Park. A vaulted ceiling and huge windows allow for views of the countryside and Longs Peak from almost anywhere in the house including the kitchen, dining room, living room, or loft.
Plenty of indoor open space for great meals and great times, plus a loft with a game table (poker and board games provided). The home comfortably sleeps 8.

- The house is nestled in a quiet corner of the forest away from the noise of traffic and other such distractions. Wildlife such as deer and elk frequent the property often by way of the seasonal streambed in front of the house. A Forest Service road is easily accessible by foot 50 yards north of the property which makes nature walks a delightfully simple enterprise. These trails also welcome the more adventurous souls, offering activities from mountain biking, camping, and hiking, to four-wheeling and Dirt Biking. Other activities such as rappeling, world class climbing, back country skiing, snowshoeing, and fishing are all available just minutes away. Manager is on site in basement apartment (with separate entrance).

Owner's Map of Estes Park
I first arrived in Estes Park at 5 in the morning, after driving all night, just in time to see the sun rising on the snow capped mountains of Rocky Mountain National Park. It was then that I knew where I was going to live.
I found my lovely wife a year later, and we were married in Estes Park a year after that, just in time to move into the home we had newly designed and built. We now have the privilege of sharing it with you.
We travel a great deal, as necessity demands, but Estes Park is our home, and you will see why when you come to visit.
For clarification of where the house is located, if the map maker does not appear, simply zoom in (do not click on the arrows, only the + sign), until you see Columbine Ln intersecting with Alpine Dr. The property is on the east side of the road to the north of the intersection. Satellite view will show a more accurate view of the road, but the house is not depicted because it is newer than the imagery. On Satellite view the property is inside the fish-hook that the road makes, which is also the border of the National Forest.
