This 5-bedroom, 4-bath waterfront townhome featuring 3 lakeside decks and a private boat dock is the ideal retreat for family and friends. Comfortably sleeps 12 in 3 master suites with king-size beds, 1 Queen-sized bed and 2 twins in a trundle bed.
An inviting décor created to complement lakeside living and family fun includes cable HDTV with DVR (52" Sony HDTV with surround sound in living room) 4 additional TV’s. Blueray DVD in living room using "Harmony" remote control. DVD downstairs with another HDTV, large DVD library, VHS and large VHS library. Also a fully-equipped kitchen and utility room, a game room complete with a ping-pong table and numerous board games, outdoor swing, wood burning fireplace and cookout grills.
Neighborhood amenities include a 9-hole golf course, tennis courts, Olympic sized swimming pool, exercise room in the club house, private 50 acre lakeside park with picnic tables, play ground equipment, basketball court, boat ramps, fuel dock, the Pier floating restaurant, and plenty of beautiful oak trees and whitetail deer.

- Amenities
- Air Conditioning : There are 2 AC units. One for the lower level and one for the upper 2 levels. Plus, fans are in each room.
- Linens Provided : We will provied 18 bath towels(for bath use only), 16 hand towels and washcloths, linens for each bed and kitchen towels. Please bring your own "lake towels". There are plenty of extra pillows and blankets.
- Washer : Feel free to use our laundry room. Please bring your own detergent.
- Dryer : Our personal laundry room is on the lower level.
- Off Street Parking : The driveway has room for 4 cars. If you have more you may park in the community parking lot a block away, but not in a neighbors driveway.
- Parking for RV/Boat/Trailer : You may park your boat trailer in the community parking lot a block away during your stay.
- Wood Fireplace : Please bring your own firewood.

- King Bed (3) : 2 of the Kings have a Eurobed topper and one has a feather topper. All 3 are quite comfortable. We get lots of positive comments about the comfort of the beds.
- Queen Bed : This Queen is topped with a Eurobed topper and is very comfortable.
- Twin/Single Bed (3) : A trundle bed with 2 very comfortable twins is in the downstairs bedroom. A cozy twin in the loft has quite a comfy mattress.
- Convertible Bed : We have added extra support and a pillow topper to the mattress to make it quite a comfortable queen size pull out bed located on the lower level in front of the HDTV. Linens kept in the closet.

- Deck/Patio (4) : *The deck of the main floor has dining for 8 and seating for an additional 3 and a stainless steel grill. The sunrises from this deck are stunning. *The lower deck has a bench and perfect for wildlife viewing, watching the sunrise and quiet contemplation. *The lakeside deck has 2 tables that seats 4 each and is ideal for grilling & eating, sunbathing & relaxing. *The front porch has table for 4 plus a bench and is ideal for relaxing with a cup of coffee, playing cards or watching and feeding the deer that come calling.
- Balcony (2) : Because the house is built on a cliff, there is a great view of Lake Travis from the main level deck which is about 4 stories up above the Lake.
- Lanai : The front porch, half of the main level deck and lower deck are all covered which provides nice shade in the summer.
- View/Location
- Lakefront : Just walk down the steps to our private boat dock. It is a great place to tie your boat to and use as a swimming platform. The covered dock also provides nice shade during the hot summer months. Since the water in Lake Travis is needed for many uses occationaly the water level drops and we do not have water in the cove.
- Communications
- Cell Phone : There are no land lines but cell service is very good. So, don't leave home with out it.

- *The Townhouse is just 2 short blocks away from the Point Venture Golf Course and Pro-Shop. *It is only 1 block away from the Club house, Olympic size Pool, exercise room and library. *The Gnarly Gar Restaurant is also a block away at the Marina. (Floating Grill and Bar) *The Point Venture Private Park is less than a mile away. Here you can launch your boat, play basketball, picnic and grill, play in the newly renovated play ground or just hike around. The best part, though, is the sandy beach which is great for swimming & playing in Lake Travis or sunbathing on the shore. It is especially nice when the water level is down.

Why the Owner Chose Point Venture
Lake Travis is one of the most beautiful lakes in TX and we love the TX Hill country. We chose Point Venture because it is on the North side of the lake and closer to Cedar Park where Jamie and Mary live. The cove we are on is so nice and peaceful and has beautiful sunrises. Point Venture offers so many wonderful amenities like a 9-hole golf course, private park with a wonderful sandy beach, basketball, play ground, covered pavilion, boat launch and hiking trails.
The Unique Benefits at this Townhome
The home itself has plenty of room for everyone to spread out. There is room for a ping-pong match, Nintendo game, watch TV or choose from our many DVD's. Enjoy our selection of board games, darts, dominoes or cards. The lake is just a few steps down and the deck is a great place to grill, sunbath or just hang out and watch the kids swim in the lake.
The fully functional and well stocked kitchen will make your stay easy and convenient. If you need something it is probably here!
When water level goes down, the private park is a great place to hang out and enjoy the beautiful sandy beach that is as pretty as any Caribbean beach. Please ask to see a photo taken April 2009.
Owner's Map of Point Venture
Jamie and Mary Cotterell and Alan and Ricki Anne Dodd bought this property together in 2006. Jamie and Ricki are brother and sister and our families have always enjoyed doing things together, especially water sports. We loved the idea of a place big enough and with plenty of bedrooms for our families to get together. We just love coming to the lake, relaxing, hanging out with family and enjoying the lake, grilling and fishing.
We know you will enjoy it as much as we do!

Our family had such a swell time! All of us enjoyed ping pong, pool activities and your outstanding movie collection. The Super-Nintendo was especially a hit. Hanging out on our boat, playing cards and dominoes, and partying at The Gnarly Gar kept us extremely entertained. Your house provided a perfectly balanced environment of fun and relaxation, and our family could not have enjoyed our stay more.

We had a wonderful time! The house was great, particularly for the kids. We enjoyed the amount of space we had. It was definitely comfortable for eight people. We have plans to return next summer. Thanks for making the stay so enjoyable.

I went with a group of friends for the weekend to this lovely home. We had a wonderful time. The house is well kept and very clean. I slept very well because the beds were extremely comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and laid out well. The dining room table was big enough to accommodate everyone in our party. I especially enjoyed sitting on the dock and watching the water, the fish, and boaters! At night we watched one of the DVD that were in the home on a large screen TV. All in all I would highly recommend this home to others.

Beautiful home with lots of indoor and outdoor space. Clean with all of the amenities of home. Beautiful view, even when water is not up to the dock. Large, beautiful rooms. Large, shady decks front and back that make outdoor living easy. Nice walk to golf course or to huge park on the lake. Close walk to marina and fun restaurant (you can throw left-over french fries into the waiting mouths of HUGE catfish!). Fun and inviting for young and old.

Loved the house 2 years ago. It is even better now. The owners continue to upgrade. This time the carpet and refrigerator were new. We were a group of 5 women on a weekend getaway. The house was large enough for each of us to enjoy a private bedroom. There are several dining areas. Large tables are in the family room and dining room. There are also a couple of bar stools for sitting and eating or talking to folks working in the kitchen. Decks on two different levels provide choices for outdoor dining or activities. We played games and ate both indoors and outdoors. Within walking distance is the Gnarly Gar, a restaurant right on the lake. Everything was very clean, the beds comfortable and the towels of high quality. The atmosphere is one of warmth and coziness. What more could anyone want? The owner was delightful and easy to work with. We will return again and again.

This house is gorgeous in a nice neibourhood. Multi-level decks are beautiful. The owner is very kind and very responsive. We (a few families with young kids) had a great Easter weekend there. Will definitely come back.

We started our Lake Travis family reunion in 1975. We have tried many different lake homes in 34 years. This home meets all our needs. We are creating memories for a lifetime. We love the Point Venture area because the golf, tennis, boating and swimming is very easy. It is a short drive or an easy walk to all the activities.
