This one bedroom condo was in excellent condition and was exceptionally clean. Martin responded promptly to all of my e-mails and phone calls, and he refunded the deposit exactly when he promised. The large lobby at Mountain Lodge is very spacious and comfortable, and each of the three floors has a seating area in the corner of the building with a panoramic view of the ski slopes and Shaver's Lake. From the lodge, skiers have one-run access to the Ballhooter Lift, the Powder Monkey Lift, and the Soaring Eagle Express Lift. Did I mention that we also stayed in the same condo two weeks prior to this visit?Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway.

Came up to stay at Mountain Lodge during the college break weekend right after a foot of snow. The condo was very clean. I really enjoyed the stay and would definitely chhose this place to stay the next time I come up. It is a great place for a small family, or in my case, my son and I. I really like the fact that I can stop for lunch and cook dinner in the place instead of having to eat out, but Auntie Pastas is in the lower level just in case I decide to eat out! Snow was great as always!!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

My wife and daughter stayed in this unit the day after Christmas. The room was all that the owner had said. We enjoyed the convient location and the access to the slopes. We ate in the room each morning and dinner in the village. It was a great experience and I would recommend this unit for sure. My Teenagers loved the slopes outside our door but we had alot of fun skiing Silver Creek at night. The only set back for us was that we had verizon cell service and there is none. Bring an AT&T cell phone if you want service.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.
Owner response: Thank you Rick. You are correct about the cell service. Verizon service will not work anywhere on the mountain. However, there is wireless internet service in the room and throughout Mountain Lodge. Not many other properties have internet access. I look forward to talking with you next year for your ski trip. Martin

We really enjoyed our stay at Mountain Lodge #317. You cant beat the location and the price. Very convenient to the slopes, shopping and restaurants. No need to shuttle everything in short walking distance. We hope to come back next year.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

We thoroughly enjoyed the condo! Martin was great to work with; he responded very quickly and told us a lot about activities available near the condo. The condo itself was very clean and was perfect for our family. It was great having a kitchen for quick meals and snacks. The Italian restaurant downstairs was delicious and there was no wait (compared to two hours waits quoted at other restaurants on the mountain). It was a very short walk to the Split Rock pool - which was great since it was only 9 degrees the day we went! And the condo could not have been more convenient to the slopes - the kids (and adults, too) had a blast skiing! We would highly recommend the condo to anyone looking for a place to stay!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

Our family of 4 spent a long weekend in this condo and highly recommend it. You can't beat the Mountain Lodge for convenience and value. And I can't imagine a cleaner or more comfortable unit than #317. You have to be careful of listings that say a "short" walk - but in this case you really are very close to both the slope and the village. It is also wonderful to eat lunch and dinner in if you decide not to go out. We really can't say enough about this unit or the owners. They have a lovely place and truly welcome you to visit!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0
