Had a wonderful week in PEI - loved deep sea fishing - caught lots of cod & mackerel; kids loved it! We caught tons & it was a beautiful hot day - also loved Avonlea - lobsters & mussels at Doiron's in N. Rustico, jumping off the pier in N. Rustico & catching the waves as the boats went by. the cabin was great! Had everything we needed - thanks!

Bay Woods Cottage is a relaxing retreat for anyone. It is VERY clean, safe and well-maintained. Having 2 children under 3 safe and clean are musts! The kitchen has everything you need to cook lobsters, casseroles, etc.. There is an outdoor grill for gorgeous summer nights over looking the bay. The location is absolutely ideal. You are centrally located to everything. We enjoyed bike riding, sandy beaches, drives around the island, amazing ceilidhs (local music performances), L.M. Montgomery site seeing and a lot of Cows Ice Cream. This home has everything you could need and if it is not there then Carolyn is happy to try to get it! We loved relaxing in the living room and on the deck in the evenings after the children went to bed. The washer and dryer were great for our family. Something else to know.....there were no mosquitos!!! It was absolutely heaven! We brought insect repellant and never needed it. We were all very happy and bite- free the entire time we were there! This was an absolutely wonderful vacation and we have decided we would return again in a few years to this very spot. Shipwrights restaurant was our favorite spot, but it is a bit pricey, but you can pick up their bread and yummy cookies to go. It is located in a house and they do the cooking right there in the kitchen and gather all the organic produce in their own garden on the premises! We also ate Cows Ice Cream almost daily since it was voted number one in the world by some magazine. The Wowie Cowie is....wowie.

We took our family vacation on PEI this summer and could not have found a better place to spend a week! The cottage is beautiful, clean and comfortable with a gorgeous view of the water and the Cavendish sand dunes. The listing actually doesn't do it justice. It is better than you see in the pictures. The property is quiet and secluded, while still close to anything that you will need, including Cavendish beach and is also centrally located on the island so you can get anywhere you want. The owners do a fantastic job of providing tourist information for you once you arrive. We would strongly recommend this property to anyone. Watch for the fox popping his head out of the bushes. The kids loved it!

Very cozy and comfortable ... nothing like feeling completely at home. The views are beautiful and the locations is central to "Anne's Land", cycling, fishing, cultural events, and a quick trip to Charlottetown and Summerside. Didn't want to leave and we are definitely planning on coming back.

We stayed for one glorious week with our daughter, husband and one year old grand daughter. It was the perfect setup for an extended family. We enjoyed the deck, yard and the total area. We had plenty to do nearby and would highly recommend this cottage

Much more than a cottage, it's a lovely home! A perfect place for a family to get away from it all and reconnect. Activities we especially liked were beach walks, seafood suppers, horseback riding and golfing. Star gazing on the cottage's oceanside deck simply can't be beat!!

One of the nicest places we have ever stayed in. Perfect, secluded location overlooking the bay. Well constructed log home, with ample room, well appointed with everything you would ever need, immaculately clean. Carolyn was very accommodating regarding our arrival and departure time. Can't get better in my opinion. We will be back- just for a longer stay this time.
Owner response:Thanks for your kind comments. We'll look forward to your next visit!

Hidded on a peninsula overlooking the Bay is Our new favorite place to be.This secret hide-away was the right spot for a family holiday. The cottage was very clean and spaciouse ,everything from Beach towels to boogie board was handy. The kids enjoyed exploring for hours in the Bay along the cliffs and in the water. Finding hidden treasures like star fish and crabs. In the evening not a sound. So peacefull anyone would love it.Cavendish ,North Rustico and Stanley bridge within minutes.I give this place a perfect 10
