South Deck & Buzzards Bay

This home sits on a white sand beach and backs on an Audubon sanctuary. There is a large deck that wraps around two sides of the house and offers your option of a shady or sunny view across Buzzards Bay three miles to the Cape Cod Canal. This area is famous for its fishing, swimming and sailing.
There are paths along both shores of the canal which are wonderful for walking, biking, skating or just sitting and watching the ships pass through. Likewise, there are trails through miles of Cape Cod and nearby Miles Standish State Park, all with easy parking. Cape Cod National Seashore is a must! We have only one neighbor so you can sit in splendid isolation while the kids explore the nearby marsh or look for new friends in the neighborhood.
The beach is soft sand with a pebbly area where the waves break. Shopping is only two miles away and many restaurants are a short drive. A large water park is a short drive as are miniature golf, go-karts and a movie theater. A bit further are Plymouth Rock, the Mayflower and Plimoth Plantation - a re-creation of the original colony that is very well done.
A large shed dormer on the second floor houses the two master bedrooms, which share a bath. Each has two twin beds which are usually together to form a king, but can be separated if you wish. These rooms have picture windows which have a breathtaking view of Buzzards Bay to the Cape Cod Canal and beyond.
On the first floor are the livingroom, enclosed porch, kitchen and dining area as well as three small bedrooms. Two of these have bunk beds and one has a double bed. They share the second bath.
Finally, we don't regard our house as "a rental property." We live and vacation here ourselves and therefore keep it maintained, up to date and clean. We love it and you will too!
