  It was so easy to work with Judith. Expectations were exceeded, this was a great condo. My friends and I had more than enough room and enjoyed our stay immensely. The apartment is close to everything with a couple of quaint little eateries literally right across the doorway and within a stone's throw in any direction. Thank you for everything Judith!

  Our family of 5, including 3 kids ages 17-26 stayed in the apartment for 4 nights during our 2 week trip to Italy. We enjoyed the location which was 2 minutes from the vaparetto's and St. Mark's making it convenient and easy to get anywhere. The apartment was very clean and the 2 bathrooms were a necessity with 5 adults. Having a washing machine was also nice. The down side was there is really no living area only a kitchen and 3 bedroom areas and there was a bad smell coming from the downstairs bathroom that was awful. We combated the smell by keeping the lid closed on the toilet and then keeping the bathroom door closed. There are many stairs to get to the apartment on the 3rd floor and in the apartment as it spans 3 floors. The upside of being high was the light coming in through the wonderful apartment windows. The apartment faces a street with some popular bars and restaurants so it can be noisy until about midnight.

  My family (5 of us, ages 8 and up) stayed in June 2012 and we were very pleased with the apartment. We would definitely stay there again – one of the nicer places we stayed. Judit met us at the vaporetto and was very friendly and helpful, suggesting good restaurants, the best gelato, and a nearby grocery. We loved Venice and being so close to St. Marks. A 5mile walk will cover the whole island (a cheap pocket compass came in handy navigating the interior). Our only issue – the water stopped working – was fixed by Judit with a simple call/text before we got back (charming 17th century buildings are entitled to some issues). The apartment had all the basics – coffee and pot, laundry soap, dishes, wifi, etc. The things to be aware of are documented in other reviews: all the stairs (about 6 stories to the top floor) and it is on a busy, noisy street which can be an issue if one is not used to it. We were thankful for the washing machine (note across Europe they were all small for a family of 5 and no dryers – be sure to plan for air-drying). We look forward to staying at this apartment again when we go back to Venice!

  This is now the second time I have stayed at this Venice apartment, so that tells you how much I like the place. Since it is located right near San Marco Square, you are right near the crowds and heat in the summertime. Venice has very few public places to sit, rest and go to the bathroom. The apartment is centrally located so you can take a break whenever you want. Judit and Guilio are helpful and very friendly. Judit met us at the vaporetto and gave us so suggestions of where to go to get away from the crowds. I do not agree with the comments about noise. There were 5 of us this year and we all slept well and found the place to be very quiet. Since there are no cars, it is more quiet than any city I have been to. As i mentioned in my other review, there are many stairs so just be prepared for that and it is not a problem. Thank you Judit and Guilio, I hope we meet again!

  This apartment is at a great location, very close to St. mark's. Our family of 6, age ranged from 4 to 85 stayed here for 2 nights, took the advantage to sight seeing early in the morning and taking a siesta, then continue our getting lost in Venice in the evening. It was super relaxing, especially to avoid the crowd amd the heat.. We met Camila on the first day, she was very pleasant! She did a great job explaining the apt to us and recommending the best ice cream shop in town ( you will know how great the ice cream is after you have it). Yes there are many stairs to climb, but after seeing every other buildings, I don't think you can avoid stairs in Venice. Giulio, the owner is very warm and relaxed, also has an office on the same fl. He can be a little slow on getting back emails, but don't worry, he is probably a bit busy. The apt is very large and clean, for our family was perfect, everyone had a place to hide. The AC worked great, as well as the wash machine, we hung the clothes outside like the locals. We didn't cook, only used the stove to heat water. Oh, it was a little tricky to turn the buner on. There are plenty utensils to use, plus few things like olive oil and vinegar to use. Other travelers left many Venice tour books on the shelf, they were very handy to use. Wifi also worked fine. We thoroughly enjoyed our Venice staying, I would say it is better then a 5 star hotels. The famous hotel Danieli is just around the corner.

  This was a great apartment, fabulous location, the rooms were great for our family of four. Easy to get to from the water bus or taxi, and it was easy to remember we're it was. Our only complaint was the noise from the street went we were trying to sleep. Ear plugs work.

  What a wonderful place to stay in Venice. Close to everything, vaporetto, San Marco Square, many great restaurants, and shopping. The apartment is clean and was great for the 2 adults and 4 children in our party. A/C worked great. There are three flights of stairs to the apartment and then stairs inside but once we dropped off our luggage, it was not a problem. We were met at the vaporetto, and after a short walk, shown how everything worked in the apartment, given shopping and restaurant suggestions. It was a nice place to go and relax to get away from the crowds in Venice and then be so close to everything when we wanted to go back out again. Thank you to Carmilla, our wonderful greater and to Giulio for your help and hospitality. We would stay again when we return to Venice.

  Great location, met at vaporetti and taken to the apartment in pouring rain, but it was a short walk! Knew we had lots of stairs so packed light and that was smart, 58 steps to the apt. door, then more steps to bedrooms and loft. Perfect for two couples. Only complaint would be the street noise in the front bedroom, but that is what you tolerate for a great location in the heart of Venice.

  Recommended for: Tourists without a car.

  Fabulous location, close to everything. The photos were accurate and the apartment was clean and charming The place could have been better stocked with kitchen supplies and cleaners, especially a coffee maker. The biggest problem was that the master bedroom was ridden with mosquitos and as much as I tried to eliminate them they were still there. I came home with many bites. This was perhaps due to the previous tenants leaving the windows open. I would recommend this unit but the owner should be aware.

  Really enjoyed this place! It was 5 minutes from St. Marks square and many great restaurants to chose from! It is right on a small canal and the surroundings are beautiful! My only negative is that there is no television so when you want to just rest from all the walking you will do...sitting back watching TV is not an option!!! Over all, the woman who owns it did a great job of explaining things and was very Friendly!
