European / American family perfect stay In Venice

This apartment is ideally located next to the st Mark's square and 10 to 15 minutes from the Realto bridge, the Academia museum etc. very close to the busy shopping streets and major tourist places but yet at the crossroads of residential areas. Amenities were perfect for our family of 5 (3 children age 9, 16 and 20). Good beds, clean apartment, no clutter, good heating system (we were there the week before Christmas). The apartment has a small dining room kitchen area which was sufficient for our active live style and allowed us to have breakfast and dinner. Our hostess also gave us great advice of where to eat out and other excellent advice. We had a great time in Venice and this apartment was great.

Recommended for:Tourists without a car, sightseeing, families with young children, families with teenagers.

I stayed at this apartment last summer. It was perfect! The location is fantastic... right near San Marco Square. A/C worked great. The place was clean and simple with character. Beds were comfortable. There are a lot of steps to climb, since the apartment is not on the first floor. Once our luggage was upstairs, it was not a problem for us. We loved the quiet and privacy. I highly recommend this apartment and hope to stay there again myself. Thank you Guilio and Judit : )

Thank you for the warm welcome. Great location, lots of room, nicely decorated and clean. Also thanks for all the information about the area, where to eat and shop and what to see. There are a lot of tourists, but with your help we managed to stay out of the heavily populated areas. Lots of stairs here, but how do you avoid it in Venice. Just pack lite.

We are a family of five with older teens. The photos are accurate. The apartment is lovely, but not appropriate for some older persons or very young children as there are many steep steps to the apartment as well as within. This apartment was extremely clean and in an excellent location. The wi fi is excellent.

we are 5 art persons who have stayed at Giulio's place twice for the Biennale and loving it! comfort and taste combined, location superb, everything close at hand, including the Rivetta restaurant across the street which is highly recommended for food and friendliness. the attic room is sooo romantic and the kitchen for the morning get-together and coffee is just right. we will surely be back in 2 year's time! the Scandinavian 5

The location of this apartment was absolutely ideal: just steps away from St.Mark's Square in the heart of Venice, surrounded by cafes, restaurants and shops of all manner. Right in the hub of activity but also nice and quiet and comfortable inside. It was great to wake up and step outside right onto one to one of the nicest streets in Venice. Highly recommended!

This is a great apartment in a perfect spot only a few blocks from St. Marks, but without the crowds. It is in a neighborhood with awesome restaurants, and great cafes. We really enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend! Thanks Giulio, you are a cool cat.

Dear Giulio, Thank you for your hospitality. We loved the apartment and we really enjoyed meeting you, Stefania, and Camilla. It was the perfect end to the summer. It was nice to have people we knew in the audience of the screening. Our schedules were so busy that we regret we didn't have the chance to share a meal together.
