Our beautiful Vanderhorst Plantation home is located one block from the entrance to the Osprey Point Golf Course and walking distance to the beach. At the corner of Governor's Drive and Marsh Cottage Lane, you will enjoy sweeping, ever-changing Marsh Creek views.
This home was designed to accommodate multiple families and couples looking to enjoy a relaxing Kiawah Island vacation. Our home has been professionally decorated and has an open floor plan with a Great Room anchored by a Tennessee mountain stone fireplace. The Great Room also has wood walls and vaulted ceilings highlighted by dramatically lit wood trusses. There is an LCD TV with a DVD and CD player and surround sound with speakers that go out to the screened in porch. WIRELESS INTERNET access is provided to all our renters along with a printer/fax(receive only)/copier. The kitchen is fully stocked, including a free standing ice maker and island cooktop and breakfast bar. In addition, there is an extra fridge in the basement for overflow food and drinks.
On the first floor are two Master suites with a king bed in each room complemented by custom bedding and draperies. Both rooms have cable TV and DVD players as well as a safe in each closet. The larger Master suite has a private balcony and a bathroom with a soaking tub and separate glass enclosed tile shower. There are two separate corian topped vanities and an enclosed area for the commode. The second Master suite has a walk in closet and corian topped vanity with a tub/shower combo. In addition, the first floor has a laundry room with washer and dryer and a half bath. The screened in porch has unparalleled views of the marsh, and has seating for 9 with a ceiling fan for your comfort. The outside deck holds a gas grill for your cooking convenience, under the shade of a centuries old Live Oak tree.
Upstairs holds a unique surprise!! Both bedrooms have TWO QUEEN beds in EACH room with custom bedding and walk in closets. No need to sleep in a twin or double bed while on vacation! Each room has its own bathroom with a corian topped vanity and tub/shower combo. The upstairs foyer also has a pullout twin sized bed.
This home is very close to the beach and is a 5 minute walk or quick bike ride away. The beach access parking is a VERY close drive if need be. Of course, Osprey Point Golf Course is a block away , and the world famous Ocean Course is approximately 1 1/2 miles down the road. Canvasback Pond is across the street, and you can enjoy crabbing and fishing as you relax and watch sunset. There is also wonderful fishing from the dock at the end of the street.
