The elevation of 700 feet provides warm daytime temperatures of 80 degrees and comfortable cooling breezes for sleeping. Spectacular sunsets await you on your private Lanai. Enjoy whale watching and the dolphins along the coast and the gentle warm breezes while relaxing and enjoying yourselves in this private, quaint guest home.
Next to this is South Kohala (with less than nine inches of rain each year and one of the most desirable areas to live on the Big Island! Cattle ranches and lush, green hills and quaint little towns like Waimea that host cultural festivals throughout the year.
Home of the world-famous Kona Coffee is the town of Kona, a 45 minute drive down the coast. The second largest town on the Big Island of Hawaii. Kona showcases tree-lined streets with friendly neighbors who don't hesitate to extend the spirit of Aloha. With moderate temperatures and about 25 inches of rain annually, this area boasts local shops, gated communities and exceptional golf courses. Of course, you'll also find exceptional beaches, water sports and some of the best whale and dolphin watching in the world in Kona (also called Kailua-Kona). |
