Just returned from a week with our family at La Vida Del Sol. We had a great time with 2 adults and 4 boys. Loved the house. There was plenty of room for all and the neighborhood is great. Very quiet but easy to get to nearby areas like Rosemary, Seaside and Seagrove. The walk to the beach was perfect although there are a lot of stairs. That said, it was worth it for a quiet and uncrowded beach. We enjoyed all the toys, beach chairs and especially the pool area. Very quiet and a nice get away with covered patio. Kitchen was well stocked and we used the gas grill to cook some fish one night. Short walk to the bike path on 30A and we took morning walks every morning. One of the best feature was this was this house is pet friendly. We brought our dog (his first trip to the beach) and it worked very well.

My family and I just returned home from our second time staying in this house and we are considering reserving again for next year. This house is very clean and nice inside and out and is in a perfect location - just far enough from Seaside, Destin and Panama City and just a short walk to the beach. After a hot day at the beach, the covered back patio and private pool were perfect. We also enjoyed the bikes and beach toys that were available. We were a bit worried about the tarballs and oil (luckily we did not see any at all) and the owner was very helpful with providing us updated information from websites and other resources. This was our seventh year vacationing in this area and we enjoy it every year. As I told the owner, I wish I could go back more often, but we definitely look forward to next year!

We had a total of 10 people staying in the house. Had a wonderful time. The pool was awsome. Spent most of our time there. The beach is not far away but still hard to get everything you need down the steps. The kitchen had everything we needed and plenty of place settings for everyone. Very clean and kept up. We would for sure come back next time.

Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners, romantic getaway.

Beautiful Home!!

The home is beautiful! We stayed with a total of 4 adults and 4 kids and had plenty of room. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need. The home is decorated Very nicely and is clean and comfortable. It was nice not to have to pack beach chairs, beach toys and towels as they furnished an ample supply. And, we loved the pool! The only cautionary comments I have that others may want to know: the house is on 3 levels and the walk to the beach is across a street and down a hefty flight of stairs which may be a hinderence for families with small children and a couple of the beach chairs needed replacing. However, this would Not stop us from returning!!! We loved our stay!! Thank you very much!!!

Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Great vacation house for 10

There were 6 adults and 4 children. This house has two living rooms that can seat and suit many. The kitchen, front porch and the pool area is were most of the adults relaxed at. The walk to the actual private boardwalk was very short, maybe 2 minutes if that. We highly recommend this home for your families vacation. All we had to purchase was our food, the house contained a ton of toys for the water and the kitchen was fully stocked.

Recommended for: Families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing.

La Vida del Sol was the best vacation home I have been to in a while. The location was very family oriented and had many accommodating stores in the area. From restaurants to shopping, the area was great. When we were not relaxing on the beach we were in our own private pool back at the house. The home itself was very beautiful and fits the perfect amount of people. It even comes equipped with all of the necessities that one would use back at home.The quiet friendly neighborhood was awesome for our girl week. I would highly recommend this house to anyone looking for a relaxing time at the beach!

Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners, romantic getaway.
