Rent this new, beautifully appointed, two bedroom, two full bath Condo in the beautiful Charlevoix Country Club. Easily accessible lower unit with no stairs. The Master bedroom has a wonderful king-size bed with a full bathroom. The second bedroom has two full-size beds and it's own full bathroom and includes a kitchenette with sink, refrigerator and microwave(can be used as a lock-off if so desired with it's own entrance). Condo includes a fully furnished kitchen. Also includes all linens and towels. Two TV's with DVD players and cable TV are available. Unit also has full-size washer and dryer. The walkout patio off the back on the first fairway of the Country Club Golf Course is a great place for the morning coffee while watching the golfers go by, or a relaxing place in the evening to watch the deer enjoy the golf course.
Renters will get unlimited golf at the country club (contact the proshop for current green fees) and can eat at the country club restaurants. The Country Club is undergoing a change in ownership, so some rules and regulations are changing. Check with me first if something might be important to you.
(Please note: As of 2011, the new owner will not allow renters the use of the country club's swimming pool or tennis courts. Since he opened the course and restaurants to the public (and renters), he needed to keep something available only to the paid membership. Sorry about this. There is an indoor public pool just at the entrance to the country club, as well as the numerous beaches, and public tennis courts just outside the rear entrance to the country club.)
Rental of the condo also includes use of our electric four passenger GEM car (similar to a high end golf cart). This is a great and fun way to explore the Country Club, hop over to Mahogany's restaurant, or explore the Lake Michigan shoreline.
Charlevoix is an excellent area for year round family fun. From the many lakes, beaches and parks for Summer fun, the most beautiful area in the State for colorful Fall leaves, to the many surrounding Winter Ski resorts. Also, loads of local cross country skiing and snowmobiling trails. And don't forget the many special weeks around Charlevoix, such as the Venetian Festival around the third week of July, the AppleFest around the middle of October, and many other shows, festivals, and fairs.
And bikers, joggers, hikers and skaters, don't forget the Little Traverse Wheelway bicycle path that cuts right across the front of the Charlevoix Country Club. This 29 mile long paved path runs from Charlevoix all the way to Harbor Springs. Just north of the Country Club, the trail offers a unique 3/4 mile long boardwalk bridging a wetland area rich with wildlife. The trail includes several beautiful stretches directly along the Lake Michigan shoreline, perfect for finding Petosky Stones, and includes two parks that are perfect for a picnic or scenic resting spot.
Charlevoix is the perfect hopping off place for exploring northern Michigan. Almost everything in northern Michigan, including Traverse City, Petoskey, Gaylord, Mackinac Island and the Mackinac Bridge, Leelanau Penisula and the Leelanau Sands Casino, Sleeping Bear Dunes, wineries, and many of the Midwest's best downhill ski resorts, including Boyne Highland's and Boyne Mountain (and don't forget Boyne Mountain's fabulous new Avalanche Bay Indoor Waterpark), Shanty Creek and Shuss Mountain, Nubs Nob, and much more are all within an easy hour drive.

All US Holidays and Applefest................. $1400/week or $225/day.
Rest of the year .............................. $950/week or $175/day (negotiable)

Nice Beach on Lake Charlevoix. Swimming, playground, picnicing, covered picnic tables...
You must check it out. Ski/snow board/ sledding hills and cross country trails in the winter, beaches and hiking trails in the summer. Everything very cheap or free. A very undiscovered gem in Charlevoix.

Three friends and I stayed at the condo in October of 2011 while visiting Charlevoix and were very pleased with the accomodations. The condo was clean, very tastefully decorated, comfortable, and had a beautiful view out the living room window. The condo was even nicer than the pictures reflected! It had everything we needed. The kitchen had necessary equipment and utensils, laundry room, TVs with cable and DVD and VCRs. The owner was very helpful and easy to work with. The owner has an electric cart (like a small car almost) that you can use to drive around the golf course and we really had fun riding on it. Charlevoix has some great restaurants, Grey Gables and Whitefish and Chips. While there we went on the "Tunnel of Trees" ride and the fall colors were beautiful. We stopped at Leggs Inn in Cross Village for lunch. We also went Zip Lining at Boyne Mountain. I went Salmon Fishing on the Boyne River with my Dad. Great shops in Petoskey, Harbor Springs, Charlevoix. Be sure and get some cookies at Tom's Mom's Cookies in Harbor Springs. So, there is lots to do! I would definitely recommend the condo. We will be coming back again soon.

We have been in Charlevoix a couple times before but never stayed overnight. Steve's Condo is the perfect getaway for a weekend or even a week. It is very lovely furnished with much detail and you can see they put lots of effort into it. The surrounding area is also very nice. We made trips to Petoskey, Mackinac Island, Traverse City and the UP. I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!

My husband, 5year old son and I stayed in this beautiful condo in August 2008. We have stayed in Charlevoix before, but were very pleased with the accomodations this year. Steve and Carol maintain an inpeccably clean place and it is very nicely decorated. The location is perfect...close to downtown, Petosky and Mackinac Island. We would definately consider staying here again. My son loved the Gem car!!
